The Ruby Valley is one of the least visited trekkings I have done so far. No surprise that we were very warm welcomed in every village and took part of the local life including simple but clean homestays and delicious, freshly cooked nepaly meals. The first day walking the Kilimanjaro Light Trail to reach the Maundi Crater - mind-blowing in a word! I trekked to Everest Base Camp and on the way back, I crossed the Kongmala Pass and went to Island peak from Chukung.
