We loved the trip but the packing list was not correct. I packed shampoo and stuff that the resorts provided which wasted room and weight in my luggage. Also there was no need for water purification tablets. We didn't need a whistle or an outlet adapter so I would take these off the list since they take up space in the luggage. A poncho is a must. Everyone we worked with was very professional and positive

The walking route was nicely maintained, with the mix of hikes across the island. I literally have seen all the gems of La Gomera! The extra days on the beach after almost a week of hikes was amazing as well. It was my first self-guided walking tour, I was a bit concerned if I’ll be able to complete (not being really super fit), but it went so good - instructions are well written, it was easy to follow and on the route my hiking shoes and walking sticks helps a million. I was able to both work out and to unwind. Thank you for all organizational support, good choice of hotels and walking guidance.

Spectacular climbing expedition in Cordillera Real with ascents of Pequeno Alpamayo (5370m/17,618ft), Huayna Potosi (6088m/19,973ft) & Illimani (6438m/21,122ft). This is the complete climbing trip to Bolivia. The towering white peaks of the Cordillera Real provide a majestic backdrop above the vast Bolivian altiplano. This is a spectacular alpine region ideally suited to anyone who is looking to undertake a series of classic mountaineering ascents in one of the world's finest alpine locations. To ensure sound acclimatisation we spend time in La Paz and the ‘Island of the Sun’ on Lake Titicaca before heading to the snow capped Cordillera Real, where we undertake 2 days of instruction with our experienced guides to prepare for the ascents. An excellent level of fitness is necessary to help ensure your summit ambitions as we undertake a series of progressively more challenging peaks, culminating with Illimani, a moderately technical peak recognised as one of the classic climbs of South America. A very enjoyable trip. Well organised, as usual with Exodus, well led, surprisingly hot weather (30+ degrees) and three very interesting counties. We visited several fascinating cities, and heard a lot about the dark days of soviet rule, the struggle for independence, and its eventual achievement in 1991.
