Are you looking for a short but intensive tour of Albania? Then this is the tour for you. Join us as we travel to Albania's major highlights during this four-day, guided tour. We will pick you up at the airport in Tirana on the first day of the tour and drive you to Berat, known for it churches, mosques and watchtowers, all packed inside city walls.
Leave Berat for Gjirokaster on the second day of the tour. This city is known for its a well-preserved Ottoman architecture. The third day of the tour will take you to Butrint, known for its ancient amphitheatre, castle and church. The highlight of this day is the hypnotic Blue Eye spring, known for its hundred shades of blue.

It was more than a holiday. It was an adventure. So exciting to visit a country that is still emerging but accessible enough to explore so much of. Itinerary was full and varied but not exhausting. Gradual 'feed' of information from our own guide and others on route reinforced by visits to sites. Group size sensibly restricted. Living out of a suitcase not as daunting as expected as this enabled us to see so much more. Enough time allotted for most places except might have been better to have had more time in Berat and a brief stop in Durres.

Beautiful weather and scenery in a part of Europe that gets easily overlooked. Lots of uphill cycling but you do get the long downhills as compensation. The guides Dhimitri and Juli were great - always helpful and Juli (also the driver) scuttling back and forth to ensure everyone was OK and had enough water. Would recommend this trip and the local provider Cycle Albania.

Great walking trip in the mountains of northern Albania. Some variation in the itinerary was necessary due to some spells of heavy rain, but the positive was that many spectacular waterfalls appeared on the mountain sides. We were very lucky to have Arben Kola as our tour leader; we could not fail to be impressed by the extent of his knowledge and of his love for his country; he was very well organised and efficient while at the same time sensitive to the needs of group members.
The only thing that the group as a whole thinks should be changed is the guesthouse in Theth. There are many more houses available there, so that it should not be necessary to share bedrooms however well you get on with your fellow walkers.

Very fast paced. Unfortunately, we arrived at some destinations at night, so sight seeing/picture taking was limited. All hotels, with the exception of the one in Greece, were very good. The one in Greece smelled very bad, had no shower head, I had to go down to the reception to request light bulbs.
Bus was very comfortable, sights were wonderful. Rumi, the tour guide is amazing. She made the trip.
