Beautiful country. Amazing tour guides. Enjoyed the scenery, the tours, and the hike to the Tiger's Nest Monastery ( which was the highlight of the trip ). The hotels and the food (all buffet) were good. The tour guide and the driver were spectacular. All of the people I encountered in Bhutan were friendly and welcoming.

The trip was absolutely incredible and we fell in love with Bhutan; its landscape,people and beauty. This was largely due to our magnificent guide Wangchuki. He was kind, patient and knowledgeable. His friendliness and humour made every single moment of the trip one to be cherished. The tour group we were with ,was perfect and we enjoyed getting to know people from different countries and of varying ages. The hotels we stayed in were unique and comfortable and everything ran seamlessly. We were lucky enough to enjoy a local festival ,as well as watching monks create their beautiful butter sculptures. In the course of our trip, we had two drivers ,Pala and Gelsen. Both were extremely careful and skilled drivers , ensuring we felt safe and comfortable at all times. No mean feat on the winding ,narrow, mountain roads ! Thank you for everything Wangchuk, you and your stunning country will always have a very special place in our hearts.

Bhutan is an immensely beautiful country and this trip really does cover the essence of it. You will get to see beautiful views of Himalaya mountains, you will visit a number of unique monasteries, historical fortresses and natural sights. The sequence of the visited places is well chosen, with the hiking trip to the Tiger´s nest the day before your departure. A cap is a must and some prior hiking training is an advantage. The food was very fine, with the hosts able to prepare a vegetarian option. Guide and driver both excellent. This really has been, without exaggeration, one of our best holiday trips. People were friendly, hospitable and the places we visited were magical, with no, or only a very few tourists.

I had an amazing wonderful experience visiting Bhutan with this company over the past week. From the start to the end of the trip, I was very well taken care of by Tsenrig (owner), Kar Chung (guide) & Leki (driver). My itinerary was adapted to my likings (nature, local cultural experience & food) and Maebar delivered well! Key highlights of the trip include: leisurely walks across the pine forests at Phobjikha Valley & rustic authentic villages, a challenging hike to Tiger's Nest at 4000m high, a unique local hot stone bath & cuisine dinner in a village home, immersing myself in ancient architectures & monastery way of life at Punakha and Rinpung Dzongs hundreds of years old etc. All hotel lodgings arranged were very comfortable, clean & spacious. The all inclusive food was a good mix of familiar international cuisine, as well as additional local Bhutanese food. I leave Bhutan with fond memories and appreciation of its unique & rich heritage. My whole team was so adaptable and kind. My guide Spring took me on incredible hiking and cultural journeys with his endless knowledge of history, Buddhism, architecture, animals and nature. Our driver Lahto was amazing at navigating the mountainous roads safely and confidently with added humor. The owner Tsenrig met me for dinner one night because I mentioned I wanted to try a lot of Bhutanese food. All the stops we made were so good and the accommodations were so nice with not a bad meal the whole trip. If you’re still on the fence, get this: I left my coat in a town 2 hours away and got it driven to me in 4 hours later so I didn’t leave without it on my early flight the next morning. Truly not a bad word can be said about this team and their team made my trip one of my favorite traveling experiences I’ve ever had.

One of quietest countries I’ve visited but they shared my love of karaoke!
