The tour leader Bibi was excellent at locating animals especially the hard to find, ie Cheetah and Leopard.
The amount and variety of wildlife seen was amazing. The locations were good but the long days in the vehicle to get to each destination was so great.
Explore were marvellous arranging a new flight home when the airline (airlink) delayed our departure from Victoria Falls by 5hrs thereby missing the BA flight home from Cape Town, which resulted in an unexpected lay over in Cape Town.

We saw a T-shirt in Africa that said “it’s not a holiday, it’s an adventure!“ This sums up exactly what this trip is about. Although it took some stamina to camp the entire time and the bus trips were long to get from destination to destination, this was an adventure like no other. Spinning, two nights roughing it in Okavango Delta was magical and we heard lions roaring at night. Our guides were outstanding and the food was better than I could possibly expect, especially since our cook did it all in a campground the safari walks and drives did not disappoint!
Because we were there in July, the nights were bitterly cold, but we stayed cozy in the tents. This is definitely a trip for those seeking authentic adventure, but not for those who are uncomfortable with idea of sleeping in a tent for 10 days. Our Guide Pappy was, always so patient and so thorough with all of us and was a wealth of knowledge about the region. I love this trip, but it definitely is not for those unused to roughing it or are expecting luxury.

I wasn't sure when I signed up for this particular tour if it was the right one for me so my expectations were reasonably low. What I actually experienced was one of the best tours I have participate in. The whole experience was brilliant. However, the Okavango Delta absolutely blew me away and had such a profound effect on my outlook on life and sitting around fire under the starlit sky will live in my memory forever.
The whole journey through Botswana was truly life changing - at times so basic, but equally, so beautiful. Africa has stolen a piece of my heart and I can not wait to return to explore more with G Adventures.

Excellent experience. A trip the family will not forget. My daughter especially made a connection with Johannes in the delta preparing the meal for the group. The South Africa Encompassed 17 days was a very good itinerary that allows you to see the best and most beautiful parts of the country. Sunway-safaris had done a very good job in organising the trip and the guilds Claude and Duncan did a fantastic job to make everything happened smoothly. They are responsible, efficient and organised; they know their job well and are just amazing! There are some very long drives but we had a good time because everyone in the group is so fun loving!
