Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa – Cat Cat village

Depart Hanoi for Sapa early in the morning. Stop for short breaks in Phu Tho Province and Lao Cai city before arriving in Sapa town. Be greeted by a representative in Sapa and enjoy lunch with local Vietnamese dishes.
In the afternoon, trek to Cat Cat village, the home of the Black H’Mong people. See the Cat Cat Waterfall and the hydrofoil constructed by the French during the 19th century. Visit a local H’Mong family and learn about their culture and customs. Then, trek back to Sapa for dinner. Spend the night in a hotel in Sapa.
Day 2: Sapa – Fansipan Peak – Hanoi

After breakfast, transfer to the cable car station. Your driver will help you buy your cable car ticket. Then, take the 20-minute cable car ride up Fansipan by yourself. Admire the spectacular scenery, visit the pagoda, and climb the 600 steps to the peak, known as the Roof of Indochina.
Return to Sapa and have lunch at the hotel. Enjoy time to explore Sapa on your own before boarding the sleeper bus back to Hanoi.

At 7:30AM in the morning you will be picked up by your tour guide and private car from your hotel and depart to Cu Chi Tunnels 44mi (70 km).
At the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels you will see some of the most intense battles areas during the Vietnam War. Explore the underground base of the resistance fighters and the intricate network of over 124mi (200km) of the tunnels.
Next, continue to Tay Ninh, this is the headquarters for the religion of Cao Dai where you'll visit the Grand Temple of the Cao Dai Holy. You can learn more about this fascinating religion by observing the noon ceremony.

The Perfume Pagoda is a nice landscape and a vast complex of Buddhist temples, it is shrines built into the limestone Huong Tich mountains. - 08.00 a.m: Depart for the 2-hour journey to the Perfume Pagoda. Enjoy the scenic drive through the rich farming land of the Red River Delta, to one of northern Vietnam’s holiest of sites.
- 10.00 a.m: On arrival board a private rowing boat for the relaxing hours’ cruise down the Yen River, along the way stop at Den Trinh (Presentation shrine), also known as Den Quan Lon (Shrine of High-ranking Mandarin), built to worship one of the generals of a Hung King.
- 11.00 a.m: Disembark and follow a stone flagged path to Thien Tru.
- 11.30 a.m: Continue the walk uphill around 45 minutes to Huong Tich Chu, “Pagoda of the Perfumed Vestige”. The pagoda is one of the most important to the Mahayana Buddhists of Vietnam.
At the top you will be rewarded with a fine view, after visiting pagoda, start the journey back down the mountain.
Note: As an option there is a cable car which can be taken instead of walking (not included).
- 14.00 p.m: Have lunch at local restaurant.
- 15.00 p.m: Visit Thien Tru, which is located on Mount Lao is built shelves in 1467, King Le Thanh Tong Quang Thuan dating to the 8th.

8:30 am. Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel to depart for Tay Ninh. On arrival, visit Cao Dai Temple which is home to the unique Cao Dai sect, whose patron saints include Joan of Arc, Victor Hugo and Winston Churchill to name a few. The religion is a hybrid of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Christianity. The Cao Dai Temple at Tay Ninh has been described as a Walt Disney fantasia of the East. The temple’s exterior is decorated with multi-colored dragons of all shapes and sizes competing for space with a number of Buddhist symbols. Above the main entrance is the all-seeing holy eye, the symbol of the Cao Dai sect. The interior is just as engaging as statues of Jesus Christ, Buddha and the Hindu god, Brahma, stand side by side.
After lunch at local restaurant, drive to Cu Chi Tunnels. At its height, the tunnel system stretched over 250km. from Saigon to the Cambodian border and was three levels deep. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centres and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving visitors a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the US – Vietnam War was like.
