Join us on this week-long, guided trek through the Druk Path, an ancient trading route over high mountain passes connecting Paro and Thimphu valleys. This memorable walking odyssey will take you through blue pine forests and past rhododendrons and juniper-filled landscapes.
Even though you will be hiking at elevations of between 2,400 m to 4,200 m, the actual trekking is relatively easy. You will get the chance to enjoy magnificent views of Mount Gangkar Puensum, the highest peak in the world not to have been summited, all along the way, lakes, and beautiful flora .
This trek is one of the most sold packages.
We had a blast going to EBC base camp last september. Me and friends booked our trip via this local travel specialist and they organized the whole trip so well. Guides and porters we also very cheerful and always smiling. We enjoyed the every moment during our trek. It was also my first experience in the remote Himalayan region and the breathtaking views alone were certainly worth the walk. Thank you Nilam and Devi for your assistance during the trek. I'll feel coming back again someday, this time probably with my family.
We embarked on a remarkable two-week journey to Nepal, expertly organized by Mr. Gokul of this tour company. Despite some last-minute changes on our part, he remained incredibly accommodating and patient throughout. We were thoroughly impressed and satisfied with the accommodations, tours, and activities he arranged for us.
Exploring Kathmandu with our knowledgeable tour guide, Siri, was an enriching experience. His insights into the city's vibrant history added depth to our exploration.
Our short but amazing flight to Pokhara was nothing short of unforgettable, thanks to the breathtaking views of mountains and valleys along the way. Mr. Kumar & Botie ( not sure the spelling) were exceptional skills ensured our safety, and the delicious food we enjoyed during the journey, especially the Dal Bhat, left a lasting impression.
Our stay in Pokhara was equally pleasant, with a well-located hotel providing easy access to shops, the lakeside, and various dining options. Exploring temples and cruising on Fewa Lake added to the charm of our visit.
However, the pinnacle of our trip was undoubtedly the journey to Annapurna Base Camp. The awe-inspiring landscapes and towering mountains along the route left us spellbound. Mr. Kumar, our experienced trekking guide, played a crucial role in making this leg of our journey truly unforgettable, sharing his expertise on the mountains, trekking routes, and religious sites.
We owe the success of our trip to the seamless coordination and outstanding arrangements made by Mr. Gokul, Ms. Ashmita and all the staff. Their dedication created memories that will last a lifetime, and we eagerly anticipate our next adventure in Nepal. Love you all !!!

Embarking on the Annapurna Circuit Trek guided by Dawa and supported by Porter Karma, was a life-changing experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we set foot on the trail to the final descent, every aspect of this trek was meticulously planned and executed with precision and care.
Dawa, our guide, was a true professional with an in-depth knowledge of the trail, local customs, and the surrounding mountains. His guidance was invaluable, ensuring our safety and well-being throughout the trek. He was not only a skilled trekker but also a wonderful companion, sharing stories and insights that enriched our journey.
Porter Karma, with his warm smile and unwavering dedication, made our trek even more memorable. Carrying our belongings with ease, Karma provided essential support and added a touch of genuine kindness to our experience. His presence was a true testament to the incredible teamwork and camaraderie fostered by Sherpa Expedition.
The service provided by this trekking company was nothing short of excellent. From the initial booking process to the final farewell, every detail was taken care of with efficiency and professionalism. The team ensured that we were well-equipped, well-fed, and well-rested throughout the trek, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of the Annapurna region.
The Annapurna Circuit itself was a mesmerizing blend of diverse landscapes, from lush forests and terraced fields to barren high-altitude deserts and snow-capped peaks. The Trek was excellent - the scenery was fantastic with the clear weather in mid-October. The trekking was sometimes challenging, but never too hard for fairly fit "almost-60-year-olds". The views of Everest and its surrounding peaks, especially from Tengboche Monastery, were fantastic. If you don't feel the need, or have the time, to go all the way to Everest Base Camp, this is the trek to take!
If you have an adventurous spirit, trekking to Everest Base Camp is an absolute must-do. The challenging trails, stunning landscapes, and the sense of achievement are unparalleled. Staying overnight at EBC was an incredible experience that allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of the Himalayas. Highly recommended for all adventure enthusiasts!
My name is Beattie, I'm 21, an Australian studying in the US and I just completed a 10 day trek to Gokyo Lakes and Gokyo Ri. I could not stress more how much I enjoyed this trek and how you will definitely not regret a single thing when you book to trek in the everest region! I usually do not write reviews but this trip was so breathtaking that I just had to champion my guide, Dhana, and the agency he works for.
Firstly, I originally booked with a friend. However, she bailed a month from my departure date. I was originally hesitant to go alone but this should definitely not deter you from trekking in the area if this is a fear of yours. Trekking alone has its own spiritual power you cannot get when you trek in a big group. You can walk at your own pace and take breaks whenever you want! Also, you meet so so many amazing people while travelling solo so you're never really alone.
Secondly, my guide DHANA was the most amazing companion to have during the trip. He went above and beyond to make my hike enjoyable and smooth. He was such a sweet man who was great company. His English is close to impeccable and is a great card player! He beat me several times at a card game I taught him on the trek. Moreover, he is very flexible and can adjust your trip to your needs. He genuinely cares about you and wants you to have the best trip possible.
Thirdly, this local tour company based in Kathmandu is great. Chhatra, who I originally emailed after booking, met me when I first arrived in Kathmandu and was very warm and welcoming. He is clearly very experienced at what he does and understands the whole system very well - he will be truthful with you and is someone whose word you can trust. Moreover, this company provided me with numerous benefits I had no idea I was actually going to receive. Every night, my oxygen level and heart rate was checked, I received fruit after every dinner and got a free hat and cap upon arriving in Kathmandu. Definitely an awesome trustworthy company to book with.
Finally, the trek itself was amazing and a trip I'll never forget. I trekked in mid December which actually was such a perfect time. The trails weren't too crowded but still enough people were trekking in order to make friends. The lake was frozen over which was still as stunning as ever regardless. Summiting Gokyo Ri was by far my favorite part of the trip. We trekked it around 2:30pm and arrived at the summit just before sunset which was absolutely incredible. My phone died at the summit because it was so cold but luckily I had a film camera (I would highly recommend bringing a film camera or even a disposable as the cold can kill batteries pretty fast - portable charger is another great idea). In terms of altitude sickness, I was very lucky to not feel the altitude too much. Diamox can be taken if needed but I think if you're young and fit the chances are you don't need to take it.
Some final trips would be: bring chapstick, bring a portable charger, bring a film camera, pack lightly and bring proper hiking socks. Be prepared for potential delays going to and from Lukla as well.
I could not recommend this operator more. I would highly suggest requesting Dhana as your guide as he is not only very knowledgeable about hiking in the Himalayas but is also such a great human as well! I will definitely be back to Nepal.

I took a trekking tour with this tour agencythat covered around 10-12 miles through the Himalayan foothills through Tonglu and Tumbling. I went around mid-February. This area is incredibly beautiful, there are rolling green hills, cloud capped peaks, good views of the snowy Himalayas which feel so close, and also small houses and huts that serve as both posts for travelers and homes for those that live in the surrounding region.
I think its safe to say that this was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I absolutely loved this trekking tour - not just because the surrounding landscape was so beautiful but because our guide was so knowledgeable about the flora, fauna, and history of the region. He taught us things about the wildlife and the kinds of plants that grew there, about the hidden temples/monasteries and Buddhist writings, flags, and monks that you will find all over. The trek also covers a lot of ground - because it lasts a full day you have time to stop and appreciate all these things. On a clear day - you will get a view of Mt Everest. It was a little cloudy at the exact time we were passing by the spot you were able to get a view. However, a couple trekkers who left earlier on a similar tour with a different guide got a great picture on their camera.
Our guide was also a really good guy. Unfortunately I forget his name but it was Subash who set up the tour for us. He taught us about the history of the region, shared his views on its future and helped us talk to people there to learn more about them. He also treated us to a really delicious breakfast in the mountain town before heading out. He told me he was a very serious mountaineer and was planning to study in Seattle for a more ambitious climb the next year.
I think it was quite dark when I got back. I forget the time but it was late and I remember being tired. I was with 3 of my friends and they were fast asleep. He gave us green Buddhist sashes with markings on them and they were very beautiful. I really liked this company because the whole experience was very personal. There were times we would just walk for a long time in silence. They really want you to experience everything first hand and for yourself. I believe its because they love the region so much, and they want everyone to love and experience it too.
One of the best days of my life.
