I did the EBC & Kala Pathar trek with Nepal Climbing team in Oct-23, I wanted to write in a review about my experience with this travel and expedition company. I had been planning to go to EBC for a few years now and finally it all came together in 2023, i was going through a lot of blogs, websites and youtube videos before deciding on the operator for this trip. Thats when this company was referred by a friend who did the EBC trek in the past. Right from the first communication with Krishna Subedi, the team was very professional, patient in answering myriad of questions i had about the trip. Krishna gave a call and walked me through the itinerary, cost and the preparation that i need to do to be able to experience a nice trek. Even though i had spoken with Krishna a few times, I was still skeptical prior to the trip worried about arrangements and the over all planning around the trip. But as soon as i landed in Kathmandu, I was escorted from the airport and was absolutely taken care of throughout the entire duration of the trip. The hotel arrangements in Thamel was very good, the crew also guided and helped me around the Thamel markets to get some of the hiking gears. Krishna introduced me to the guide, who spoke good English and Hindi. And then the trip started, the arrangements were perfect, we were fortunate on the weather part, no delays in getting to Lukla and then onwards we were able to follow the itinerary - all the villages and tea houses we stayed. The hotel and arrangements were top class. Clean and hygienic tea houses were provided. The guide Neema Sherpa was very knowledgeable, courteous and very friendly. He answered all the questions i had, spent a lot of time clicking pictures and videos and he was a very good friend through out the journey. And after the return to Kathmandu, again the stay provided by the company was really good and a hospitable place with nice food. My entire experience due to these professional arrangements was very smooth. Over all i had a fantastic trekking experience through the help of the guide Neema and the team led by Krishna, i would highly recommend any one to engage Krishna and team for a terrific trekking experience.

In April 2025 we set off on a trek with the aim of climbing Mera Peak. The journey took us a total of 16 days. The trek was very well organised, thanks to our great guide Chhiyang Banapish we always knew what to expect the next day, we always had enough water and food on the way, he always arranged good accommodation for us and togeher with the porter they took great care of our comfort and safety. I really appreciate that we went the whole way with one guide, who managed to get to know us during that time (I do not recommend going with a trekking guide and changing guides in Khare, they do not know you, they do not know how you have fared on the trek up to that point). Our guide was very reliable, thanks to him and his proper guidance and sufficient acclimatisation, we managed to reach the summit, although I was tired, but he was able to motivate me and really accompany me to the summit. I would like to thank him and our porter very much, as well as the agency. I would definitely use their services again next time.

Our experience was completely wonderful from start to finish. The tour company made booking in difficult times straight forward and rather easy. The local operator who were looking after us in Kathmandu and on our trek were perfect. From the moment we cleared customs we were completely looked after and had absolutely no worries or concerns, everything was taken care of for us. We we collected by Ram our trek guide and transferred to the hotel, we met Indira there and she was and is an amazing woman. Everything was explained to us and we were given everything we needed. Indira is the perfect hostess, she arranged a private tour for us and gave us her contact number in case there was anything we were unsure of or needed. On the trek Ram was amazing, so helpful and knowledgeable, he sorted everything for us day to day and made sure our moral was kept high particularly when the going got tough! He gave us so much insight and information into life in Nepal and on the trek and never left our side. We felt so lucky he was our guide and cant thank him enough. Without you Ram we would never have got to EBC love ya mate!! We renewed our wedding vows at EBC and back in Kathmandu Indira arranged a monk to give us a blessing ceremony at Monkey Temple. Her care and attention to detail was humbling and touching. We were worried about the PCR test before flying back, this again was sorted by Indira, what an amazing woman. Thank you Indira. A special mention for Prabin our Sherpa/Porter who carried our gear for us an amazing young man with lungs the size of planets and Parashu our Kathmandu guide who gave us a wonderfully informative tour of the cities sights. Local tour specialists organised a fantastic private tour for our group in August/September 2019. We chose the Golden Triangle with Mumbai itinerary and were able to get the best value. Having liaised with them via email in the months and weeks ahead of the tour to ensure all our queries were answered, we were greeted at Delhi airport by a representative and our driver without issue. From there we were transferred to our first hotel. We opted for 4 star hotels and overall were happy with the accommodation, although once there we would have liked to be a little more central to restaurants/shops etc outside of the hotel for evenings and free time. Our itinerary overall was pretty busy so not too much bother. We had different guides in each city who were all welcoming and knowledgeable. The particular highlight was our driver for the golden triangle portion, Mangeram, who went out of his way to keep us happy and share his knowledge and expertise with us. His English was great which also enhanced our experienced since we spent a large amount of time in his company traveling. We felt safe with him and that he was trustworthy - especially important as an all female group. It would have been good to spend a few more days in Mumbai and to stay somewhere central there. Overall, I would recommend local guides and drivers, who made us feel welcome at each stage.
