We embarked on an unforgettable journey along the Manaslu Circuit, exploring additional highlights like Kathmandu Heritage Tours. This tour operator graciously accommodated our request for extra days for an acclimatization and also to include some side trips, demonstrating impeccable professionalism and hospitality throughout our expedition. Our guide, Kumar, stood out with his exemplary service, providing us with insightful guidance, ensuring our health and well-being, and attentively caring for us during moments of fatigue or discomfort. The porters, including Prakash/Bhote ( as they called) and Anil. Kumar, went above and beyond their duties. Not only did they shoulder the weight of our bulky bags throughout the trek, but they also offered invaluable assistance on challenging terrains, ensuring our safety and comfort. Their warm demeanor and genuine Nepali hospitality enriched our journey, making it truly memorable. Thanks to the exceptional team, we had an enriching and delightful experience on the Manaslu Circuit trek, creating lasting memories that we will cherish for years to come. Thank you. Namaste !
This was our first trip to the Himalayas and we had the absolute greatest experience ever, thanks in total to the service from the local operator and our sherpa/guide Chandan Magar. Chandan proved to be more then the most capable and knowledgable of guides, always looking after us etc., he was also very personable and fun to spend with me during the trek ! We had many great laughs, eclipsed only by the wonderful places he took us to see. His knowledge and grasp of everything Nepali gave a deep insight into much more then just the trekking and mountains whcih Nepal is famous for. If you do a trek in Nepal ask first for Chandan Magar and you know your money is well spent! Sujan, who booked the tour and everything else for us in Kathmandu, was also not only a great professional but a good friend to have when overseas and far from home. All in all what else can I say other then that I cannot wait to do this all again in future!
