We had the best time on our Costa Rica trip. I was worried about the coordination, but all went smoothly. The communication was fantastic and and when little things happened they were always available on Whatsapp for updates and reassurance. Great trip. Beautiful archeological sites and cities included in the itinerary. Would have been helpful for many travelers to know that for the two nights at Machu Picchu you will need an overnight bag for the train ride and hotel stay as your luggage is likely too large for the train to Machu Picchu. Cusco was a great city to walk around and sample a lot of good restaurants.

Your arrangements gave us exactly what we wanted. But we were surprised that this was not a group tour as we thought it would be. Each hotel and excursion was separate, as opposed to being with the same group and tour guide the whole time. However, it worked out fine. We especially loved the hotels selected by the tour company because they were centrally located and we could easily walk around the various cities.

I had not been on holiday for over a decade before I embarked on this trip, so suffice to say I had high expectations! Costa Rica had been on my list ever since a colleague visited the country two years ago, and it was well worth the wait. We were fortunate enough to only have eight travellers, which meant that our guide, Jonathan, had ample time to answer all of our questions.
If you are looking for a holiday which will give you eight hours of sleep a night then this trip is not for you. We were up for breakfast before 8am every day and despite there being several optional extra activities listed on the trip notes, we didn't have time to do any of them as we were constantly on the go! I felt as though I was away for six months or more, and I enjoyed moving to a new area of the country every few days. Each hotel we stayed at had a different style suited to the area of the country we were in - rainforest lodge, spa resort, mountain hotel, ranch, beach hotel. The food was wonderful - all breakfasts are included and on the days when our lunch and/or dinner weren't included, we never felt hungry.

It was a fun tour put together. The name of this tour pretty much is what says, in which you see many different waterfalls and forest areas around the Ricon de la Vieja National Park, Monteverde, and Arenal volcano near La Fortuna. Many activities were arranged to which you see these waterfalls and forest environments such as horseback riding, nightwalk to see various animals insects and reptiles at night, hikes, and rappelling. When these activities were done usually by noon, you have the rest of the day to yourself to explore around other sites or to just relax at your hotel. I enjoyed the week I had in Costa Rica doing this tour, and I would recommend anyone who wants a bit of adventure and relaxation to go on this tour.
