Initially, I was reluctant to visit Iguazu as I thought its just another waterfall, but when I saw the beauty of this waterfall I was speechless. You have to visit this place to experience the beauty and enormity.
The Macuco safari & boat trip to under the waterfall I am not going to forget ever.
Since I was unable to visit the Argentina side of the waterfall, I was able to spend the day at the Itaipu Dam and also the 3 fronteiras (borders).

We had an amazing trip!!! The company in Uyuni Damayatur went above and beyond for us! We also loved our driver in La Paz- and Nirco our tour guide too- so informative. We also really enjoyed Nilo our guide for the Mashaquipe Ecolodge and our tour there! It was a treat to be in the city for Gran Poder as well. Great trip! Highly recommend!!!
The trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands was the perfect balance of adventurous activities and cultural experiences for me. I loved all of the numerous activities packed into this trip and appreciated that CharlieTheTraveler organized the trip so well so it never felt like I was being rushed from site to site like I have felt with some other tour companies. This was the perfect getaway for me!
North Brazil is such a beautiful area of the country filled with tropical beaches and blue waters. However, this was nothing compared to Lencois Maranhenses National Park, which was included in the tour by CharlieTheTraveler. The sand dunes weaving through blue patches of water was a unique landscape. I think this would be my favorite destination on this tour. The company-provided tour guide was also a great addition to help navigate.
I am writing this review as I look through all of the pictures I took of the beautiful natural landscapes in South Brazil. CharlieTheTraveler included so many picturesque sights, including Hito Tres Fronteras, the beaches on Santa Catarina, and the Iguazu Falls. However, the best experiences of the trip were not able to be captured in pictures. The tours immersed me in the Brazilian culture. The authentic town of Ouro Preto offered a great experience. I appreciated that the company allowed me time to be immersed in the culture on my own.
This travel operator provided us with a two-day trek to Machu Picchu that has to be experienced to be truly understood. Their crew of porters and cook provided exceptional service and meals. David's knowledge was outstanding and his attention to detail in regards to accommodation travel and gear storage was second to none. If you want a first class trekking experience this company should be your first choice.
