We had a blast going to EBC base camp last september. Me and friends booked our trip via this local travel specialist and they organized the whole trip so well. Guides and porters we also very cheerful and always smiling. We enjoyed the every moment during our trek. It was also my first experience in the remote Himalayan region and the breathtaking views alone were certainly worth the walk. Thank you Nilam and Devi for your assistance during the trek. I'll feel coming back again someday, this time probably with my family.
I did the ABC Trek in December 2019. Was an amazing experience and the trek was stunningly beautiful. My guide Deepen had a great knowledge of the mountains and was very attentive to my needs. He had a good understanding of what different clients are capable of after watching them on day 1 and then made sure the trek was suitably challenging but not out of their comfort zone. I always felt that safety was a priority and when extreme bad weather came in when only a few hours from our ABC destination, I was comfortable with the decision not to risk it. No one went up the mountain that day. The trek was fun, heaps to see, lots of people to meet along the way and Deepen always discussed the plan for the following day the night before, so I felt engaged and knew what to expect. Overall a great trip, would highly recommend but make sure you take some very warm clothes if travelling in winter. I'm thinking myself of planning another trek.

When it comes to organizing an adventure-packed trip to the Everest Base Camp and beyond, this local travel specialist stands out as a reliable and efficient choice. From start to finish, they ensured that every aspect of the journey was well taken care of, leaving us with nothing but positive memories.
The Everest Base Camp Trek, which served as a warm-up before climbing Lobuche East Peak, was an exciting and fulfilling experience in itself. The trek allowed us to gradually acclimatize to the altitude and enjoy stunning landscapes along the way. The climb to Kala Patthar provided a unique perspective, as we descended into the valley from EBC, further aiding our acclimatization process while marveling at the breathtaking scenery.
However, it was the climb to Lobuche East Peak that truly tested our limits. The steepness of the peak presented a challenge, but thanks to the expertise of our climbing guide, who skillfully fixed ropes and offered guidance, we were able to conquer it without too much difficulty. The sense of achievement upon reaching the top was immeasurable and made all the hard work worthwhile.
Our experience with this agency was nothing short of exceptional. If you're seeking a well-organized and thrilling trekking experience in the Everest region, they should be at the top of your list.

Follow in royal footsteps with "Bavaria: King Ludwig's Way," an eight-day self-guided walking tour beginning in Starnberg and ending at the fairy-tale Neuschwanstein Castle. Designed for experienced travelers and seniors seeking both history and scenic beauty, this moderate-level journey traces the preferred haunts of Bavaria’s enigmatic King Ludwig II.
Stroll past scenic lakes, rolling hills, and charming villages dotted with onion-domed churches. Admire masterpieces of baroque architecture, visit historic monasteries, and reach the summit of Hohenpeissenberg for panoramic Alpine views. The route is gentle, mostly farm tracks and country lanes, with numerous opportunities to pause for refreshments and local treats.
The USP? A unique blend of royal intrigue, architectural splendor, and accessible walking, culminating at the world-famous Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. Accommodation, transport, meals, and detailed route guidance are provided, making this tour package the ideal way to experience Bavaria’s storybook landscapes and history.
Our accommodation in Rio Bamba was terrible, I felt I could not use the shower as it was so dilapidated. We only had one towel that had already been ripped in half. We felt it would have been hygenically unsafe to use the 'restaurant' and went out for breakfast. We were unsure why we went to Rio Bamba as it was not a nice place and it felt unsafe at night. Apart from 4 nights the accommodation was quite good. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and spoke to us for most of the time during the coach journeys. Nothing was too much trouble for him to do for us. The itinerary was very good apart from Rio Bamba (which should have been avoided) and a wasted last day in Quito. We could have caught an earlier flight to Quito, from Cuenca, the next day and not spent another day in a hotel that is a long way from Quito city which we had already explored.. Also it would have been better to have flown from Cuenca on the early morning flight to Quito then straight to Bogota and the to LHR.
