It was a great tour with a mix of free time and places to visit. I will like to specially mention our guide Filippo with his immense patience who made our trip wonderful.
I joined this tour as an 18 year old first time solo traveller, scared and excited to travel with strangers. To put it simply, it exceeded all my expectations. The places I’ve been, the things I’ve seen and the people I’ve met put my experience over the top. Thank you G Adventures!

We were able to visit the places we wanted to see. It was a smooth journey although at the beginning of the tour, it wasnt oragnized. The guide was still figuring out things. We waited for the local guide who was late and waited for the purchase of tickets which could have been purchased ahead of time during our free time prior to meeting up again with the guide. At the beginning, the tour wasnt catering for the age of my mom because the local guide wasnt checking on us. She just continued walking without checking if all her participants are able to follow her. Everyone in our trip said about it that they were having a hard time catching up with the guide even if they are younger. She was so much in a rush that I even told my mom when we were at the Imperial forum to stop stressing herself in looking for the guide because we are not able to enjoy the trip. We stopped looking for the guide and just walk and enjoy looking on our own at the imperial forum.
Other than that, everything was enjoyable
Another comment that I would like to give is the hotel at Switzerland - Demero.. it is too small for so many tourists They could not accommodate us during breakfast It was a chaos No place to sit. Other touristz from other buses did not fall in line in taking their food. Some were not able to eat. I suggest do not use that hotel. It is too small. The Eating area is too small to handle such big crowds.

Delve into the rich history and ancient wonders of Rome before departing for the breathtaking Amalfi Coast, known for its dramatic cliffs, colorful villages, and azure waters
Our family of 5 adults recently went to Italy on a 9 day trip to Venice, Rome and Sorrento(Amalfi Coast) with private tours, fast train travel, door to door drivers, and great accommodations; which was all set up by Michael.
Michael was very responsive to my communications, very helpful with trip suggestions to make the trip better, and just overall a great travel planner! I was nervous at first, because I have never completely booked a vacation online without ever meeting the travel planner, but it all worked out great!
We were completely happy with everything about our trip, and will definitely reach out to Michael again when we travel to Italy! There were a couple of small issues that arose over the duration of the trip, but they were handled quickly and without further problem to us. So all was good.
Our private tour guides in Rome, Ornella; and Roberta in Pompeii were incredible. Our Venice tour guide, Cynthia, was awesome too, she did a great job! We did a full day 8 hr tour in Rome of the Colosseum and Vatican, and I would recommend splitting that to two half days if you have the time. It was awesome, but a bit much for one day!! Also, we had a full day Amalfi Coast tour by van, with great driver Antonio, which was supposed to go to Positano, Amalfi, & Ravello, but because the traffic is so bad on the roads, there wasn't time to make it to Ravello. So, I recommend either going by boat, which we hear is faster, or allow more time if you want to see all three villages.
Again, a great trip for the memory books! Thank you MIchael and all of the local operators who worked to make our trip such a success!!
