I came for the salt flats but got to discover that Bolivia has so much more to offer with its culture, history, and different terrains. I appreciated being able to see both the cities and nature. It was special to witness a culture so connected to the land and Indigenous people. The CEO was exceptional: approachable, communicative, kind, informative, organized, attentive and passionate.

It's the first time I've done a National Geographic tour and the accommodation was at the next level compared to classic tours.
Lunch on the salt flats was awesome, table, chairs, food and wine. Followed by sparkling cider for tea with snacks....G never fails to surprise me by taking it up the next level.
Izzy helped me out with my on line check in, as well as a few others in the group. He is definitely deserving of being a primary CEO
Bolivia is a geographically diverse country and is often referred to as the Tibet of South America. On this guided tour, explore the natural splendor of the Andean landscape and gain a deeper understanding of the complex contemporary culture of the region.
Walk the streets of La Paz, a city that touches the sky, and roam through its most important squares and attractions. Visit the city of Sucre, which is Bolivia’s most beautiful city and the symbolic heart of the nation. It was here that independence was proclaimed.

The trip was super. The Salt Flats and the desert crossing were the absolute highlight. I would recommend this trip. Also the pace and places were good. The only negative thing was the guide. If the guide is not good, then it affects the whole group trip.
Lima and Santiago bookended this trip. The small cities and towns we visited were more to my taste. La Paz was special in part because of a very good city tour largely on the cable card.
