The term Ifugao does not just refer to the name of the region but also the people whose ancestors were responsible for the famous rice terraces of Banaue, popularly regarded as the eighth wonder of the world.
Travel to Pula, your first Ifugao village, from Manila. Visit Batad, known for its amphitheater-like rice terraces. The final village of this trip is Bangaan, from where you will drive back to Banaue and then to Manila. Enjoy stunning sceneries of mountains, rice terraces and forests along the way. A very enjoyable trip with some impressive scenery, interesting food, an outstanding guide (Rey) and some great experiences. There was no major highlight but collectively the places visited provide an insight in to the Philippines and the culture. And we had 2 typhoons which made for some challenges at times.

The Cordillera is the most famous mountain range in the Philippines and the only landlocked region in a country of coastlines and oceans. This region stands out not just because of its unique geography but also for the distinct cultural identity of its people.
See the famous amphitheatre-like rice terrace of Banaue. Be awed by the ingenuity of the native Ifugao people. Travel to Sagada, a town hidden in the clouds, next and visit its sacred waterfall. Get the chance to explore parts of its extensive cave system as well. Take the bus back to Manila at the end of the trip.
Tour in traffic congested Manila was a nightmare, best part of the tour was the lunch and shopping. A Venue hotel was very dirty and air conditioner spits out dust and more Dust. Costabello in Cebu resort was very clean and food great. The tour in Bohol was outstanding, loved the Chocolate Hills.
