The tour starts off in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal and the capital of Nepal’s culture, religion and architecture. The vibrant history of this mystical and ancient place has left its mark in the distinctive architecture that ornaments the city. The Himalayan giants are visible from the city itself and combine with the ancient architecture for spectacular views. We'll take you to the edge of the Kathmandu valley to the famous tourist destination of Nagarkot Village, where you will get an even more spectacular view of the Himalayan range.
Nepal is much more than just the Himalayas. We'll also take you to the lakeside town of Pokhara to explore Nepal from a completely different angle. Here, you will be able to relax and enjoy chilled drinks while admiring the reflection of the Himalayas in the crystal clear Phewa lake.
After Pokhara, the journey continues to Bhutan – a small kingdom completely spread out on the foothills of the Himalayas. Bhutan will amaze you with its natural beauty and peculiar secluded culture that has managed to survive the modern world thanks to the country’s seclusion. This is one of Bhutan’s biggest charms. We'll make sure that you visit all the must-see locations including the capital Thimpu.

This was my first G adventures experience and I was very pleased with the overall trip accept for the stays in India. I would hope that G adventures takes a good look with whom they booking the stays with, i would not book another trip to India if I was to stay in those types of hotels.

Our Nepal and Bhutan Tour is a cultural extravaganza in two beautiful South-Asian nations. On our 9-day journey, we get a glimpse of Nepal while spending most of our time in the Land of the Thunder Dragon, Bhutan.
The trip begins in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. The city, voted number 19 out of top 25 Destinations in the World 2015 by Trip Advisor, houses several UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We’ll visit a few before flying to Paro, Bhutan.
In Bhutan, we’ll travel to many townships and tour several dzongs (fortresses), temples, and other cultural and historical landmarks. While in Bhutan, we’ll also cross the high Dochu La pass and hike to the enchanting Taktsang(Tiger’s Nest) Monastery. However, our Nepal and Bhutan Tour does not end here.
We’ll fly back to Kathmandu and visit the old cities of Patan and Bhaktapur, which have charmed millions of tourists over the years with its historical architecture and rich cultural heritage. Then we drive to Nagarkot, a village renowned for its sunrise and sunset views of the Himalayas, and end the tour with dramatic views of the tallest peaks in the world.
