She brought every stop to life, whether we were walking through the historic Medina of Fez or standing in awe before the architectural marvel of the Hassan II Mosque.

It had sheer walls that glowed orange in the sun and a stillness that felt almost sacred. The camel ride to our desert camp in Merzouga was unforgettable.
