This was my first solo trip and my first time using Explore! It was a brief tour but it allowed me to get accustomed to the tour experience. Our tour leader, Einar, was exceptional. He made the trip both educational and entertaining. Einar shared his Icelandic heritage graciously and answered all of our questions with kindness. Our group was a wonderful mixture of ages and personalities and we blended very well. Awesome, amazing, fantastic … a magical tour. We were very fortunate to have fine clear and sunny skies with no wind for large period of our trip. We did experience whiteouts in the mountains and a little snow. The Northern Lights were better than I hoped for. Erla our guide was superb, enthusiastic to share her knowledge and love for her country with a great itinerary. Thor our driver was also fantastic and safe as there were a few tricky days with whiteouts and ice! Highly recommend this tour. Food was tops too
