Upon arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, clients will be transferred to a hotel in Arusha Town. Once settled, we will conduct a briefing about the Safari. Early the next morning, a 4X4 Safari vehicle will pick up the clients from the hotel and embark on their Safari adventure. First destination is the Serengeti National Park, which is a 320km drive northwest from Arusha. Ngorongoro conservation Area and the crater is also a spectacular wildlife viewing area where clients will enjoy another day of exploration. The variety of animals here, range from rhinos, elephants, gazelles, elands, wildebeest, zebras, lions among others. Camping tents will be installed for overnight stays, in designated camping sites. Camping chairs will be set up for evening or nighttime relaxing moments, this is normally a great opportunity for the clients to engage their knowledgeable guides in event of any questions about the Safari and the region. Overall, great experience. Brian has been extremely helpful in tailoring the itinerary for the safari and has assisted us all along the process. Our guide, Henry, was always on time and truly did his best to show us all the possible animals within the visited parks. We've had nice lunches (with juice and wine) during the 7 days of Safari and the car was always sparkling clean in the morning when our guide was picking us up :) Our safari was followed by a beach holiday in Zanzibar : Brian has arranged a pick-up at the airport for us. This holiday delivered on every front. We saw so much wildlife and enjoyed the variety of parks and environments. We were very lucky in having a small group and this added to the enjoyment. The Tortilis camps are fabulous and on 2 occasions catered for only 4 guests eight 18 staff. The tents are wonderful and met all our needs. However our fellow guests did experience issues with hot water for their shower on several occasions but staff did endeavour to resolve the issue each time. Hamse, our guide, was great and also helped us arrange an air balloon trip over the Serengeti which enhanced the overall trip.
