Island Peak located in Everest Region offers an impressive and highly glaciated face that emerges from the Lhotse Glacier. Island peak at an elevation of 6189m is actually an extension of Lhotse Shar located between the Lhotse and Imja glaciers. Island peak climbing also offers spectacular scenery of the Khumbu region and the Chhukung valley. We begin our climbing expedition with a flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. We accompany the Dudh Koshi river valley and stay one day in the Sherpa town of Namche Bazzar and enjoy the local market. Next day we set our journey towards the amazing view of the pristine Gokyo Lake. We enjoy the climb to famous Gokyo Ri which offers one of the finest scenery of Everest , Cho Oyu and many different mountains. After climbing Gokyo Ri we cross the Cho La pass where we can enjoy yet another great prespective of mountains, and descend to Dingboche. From Dingboche we begin the arrangement for our Island peak climbing expedition. Despite the fact that we can ascend the peak in a single day, however from our earlier experience we spend two nights at the base camp for adjustment and finally attempt the Island summit from the Base Camp.

All of the trips were delightful whether I was with a group of 20 or 2.

We had this great trek "LUMBA SUMBA TREK" situated between the Kanchenjunga and Makalu region of Taplejung District, the trekking was a bit unique with less crowded travelers and trekkers which made the trekking more smooth and convenient for the every day settlement and activities. We encountered the most untouched natural places of this trek with beautiful flora and fauna,Himalayas, landescapes, routes,warm hearted local people, beautiful rhododendron's covered mountains, animals like:Yak, musk deer, Red panda which made our trekking very much enjoyable.So this trek last point was Olangchula gola which located between the boarder of Nepal and Tibet and on our last day we enjoyed with some local brew called "CHHANG" and Local meat to celebrate our Succes Trek of Lumba Sumba,our team guide Pasang was very helpful guys with bright smile in his cheek, very experienced guide and friendly during the trek which help us to be more relax during the trek.
We are very happy with the service of this local operator and i strongly reccomend this company for any kind of trekking here in Nepal.
