The Everest High Passes trek leads to the three difficult, high passes of the stunning Everest region: Kongma La at 5535m, Cho La at 5420m and Renjo La at 5340m. Trekkers will also reach Everest Base Camp, Kalapather, Gokyo valley and several beautiful mountain lakes. Explore the beautiful and untouched Sherpa valley Nangpa La, the monastery village of Thame and witness glorious views of the surrounding peaks. If you are looking for adventure and challenge without any technical climbing, then this trek is recommended!
We start our trip with an adventurous flight to Tenzing Hillary airport at Lukla followed by a trek along the classic route through Sagarmatha National Park to the mighty Dudhkoshi river, and past beautiful landscapes, chortens and monasteries. We make our way to the Everest Base Camp after reaching the summit of Kongma La.
After visiting Everest base camp and climbing to the highest point, Kalapatthar 5,545m, the trail leads over Cho-la pass 5,386m to reach a scenic Gokyo Lake and the valley with a tremendous panorama viewpoint.
Everest three high passes trekking finally ends after crossing the last pass, Renjo-la at 5,360m. Then, head back to Lukla for the flight to Kathmandu. Reminisce on your remarkable trekking experience in the high mountains with our friendly staff and guides!

Enjoy the grandest journey in the land of the Himalayas with our 16-day, guided trek to Mount Everest Base Camp. Your adventure to the base camp begins with a rather scary flight to the mountain airstrip of Lukla, at 2,800m elevation, and passes through the picturesque Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar to reach Gorakshep.
The high point of this journey is the ascent of Kala Patthar (5,500m) from where you can soak up stupendous views of Mount Everest and its surrounding peaks. You will spend most of the trek above the elevation of 3,000 meters in Khumbu and Imja valleys, whose skyline is dominated by the massive peaks of the Eastern Himalayas.
Along the way, you will get the chance to enjoy the culture of the Sherpa people, see ancient monasteries and learn how Lamaistic Buddhism influences the Sherpa life. Beautiful, multi-coloured prayer flags and prayer wheels along with intricately carved mani stones line every hilltop along the route.
Travellers who are physically fit and have a sound health can book this adventure. Some experience in high-altitude treks is preferred. For more experienced hikers who wish to take up the challenge, we suggest an Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes trek.

A wonderful little try through the foothills of the Himalayas. Not particularly difficult, one just needs a little determination after a few days of walking downhill in snow. BEAUTIFUL views from Poonhill and throughout the entire trek. The hot springs are a great touch at the end as well. Beware of donkeys!
