I enjoyed every minute of this trip. The local staff (Gum K.C. our tour leader, and Chowang our sherpa leader, and all 5 of the porters) made the trip an amazing experience.
I had never been to Nepal or to high altitude so it was a challenge for me (at age 64) but I would most definitely do it all again in a heartbeat.

In November 2023 me and my friend embarked on a bucket list adventure. We booked a private tour for the drive in and out EBC via Gokyo Ri trip. Right from the get go everything was smooth, the communication at the head office made it appear there was no time difference between the U.K. and Nepal.
Upon arriving in Nepal the pick up from the airport and briefing were clear and to the point with no delays or issues. The trek itself has definitely been one of the most beautiful and difficult things I have ever embarked upon and I have NO regrets with my choice in agency or itinerary!
My tour guide for the 3 week package we booked and every day he stayed happy, tried his best to keep our spirits uplifted and made sure all the little things behind the scenes were sorted so all we had to do was focus on the trek itself. I highly recommend having him as a tour guide especially if you’re trekking in the Everest Region. Also, our Porter deserves a special shout-out for showing the strength of these Nepalese people, much stronger than I could imagine to be.
The Everest Base Camp and Gokyo trek is one of the best treks in Nepal. You will be overwhelmed by the awesome views of the world’s highest mountains including Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201 m), Mt. Nuptse (7855m), Mt. Pumori (7161m), Mt. Changaste (7,550m), Mt. Ama Fablam (6,856m), Mt. Thamserku (6,723m), Mt. Kantega(6,685m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m) among others.
The trekking route is designed in such a way that you will be able to make excursions to Gokyo lakes also; have short summit to the fantastic Gokyo Ri, and finally reach Mt. Everest base camp.
The Everest Base Camp via Gokyo lake begins by a short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla airport, the entrance point of the Everest Region. We will also fly back from Lukla, when the trek ends.
You will be able to do this trek if you can walk up to 6 hours a day. There will be a couple of days for acclimatisation, where your body will also get some rest. If you are in doubt as to your physical fitness, please add a porter who can carry your backpack, when booking this package.

Great service, amazing experience and great adventure in the mountains!! Gokyo Cho La Pass trek with this tour agency is highly recommended. The agency is an expert in Manaslu region, Karma made all the preparations very smooth. I am a solo traveler and he helped me to find a group. All the communication was very smooth and I always got quick answers. Despite the tight schedule, the agency managed to get all the permits, and we left for the trek the day after arriving in Kathmandu. Karma and Nima are knowledgeable, responsible and funny guide/supporter, who made sure we had the best experience during the trek:) We loved the nature, villages, mountain views. I had a fantastic trekking trip to the Island Peak, organized by the local operator. The hotels were good and the guide became a close friend of mine. Additionally they were able to change the date of the flight-out of Lukla without any problems. If I ever will do another trekkingtour in Nepal I definitly go back to ACH and I just can recommand to everbody else to do the same!!
