There were only 8 people in our tour group. All the guests were pleasant, and we all got along great. Everyone was considerate of the time and our fellow passengers. The group leader Angie and our coach driver Mattheo were both wonderful. We were escorted by our group leader who had all the plans perfectly timed with no stress getting to any place. Our driver Mattheo was always at our location to pick us up on time. The trip was amazing. The scenery along the coast of Italy and Switzerland was breathtaking. The many modes of transportation made it a very interesting and an exciting trip. We never lacked for any beautiful scenery along the way. The hotels were all very nice and the luggage service at each location was great. My only complaint is that the food in Switzerland was very expensive and not the best for the price you had to pay as compared to Italy where the meals were great. We enjoyed our little excursions that were planned for us. One of my favorites was the cooking class and wine tasting in Verona Italy. The chocolate factory in Switzerland was also a favorite. The overall trip was great, and I would highly recommend it.

Absolutely fabulous tour - especially if you can get Justin Walley to lead it.
Tour was a good mixture of morning tours lead by experienced local guides and a good amount of free time to explore on your own.
The group dinners were good value - both in the quality of the meals and the venues. The dinners were not rushed (as we have found on Insight tours).
Cooking class was such fun.
Really recommend this tour.

This Blue-Roads tour was everything, and more, than I expected. The guide combined just the right amount of information with being personable and approachable. The itinerary was perfect: the more I saw and experienced, the more I fell in love with Malta. The group size (of just 14) was also perfect: we all got to know each other quickly and were soon one big happy family. Also, it meant no lengthy waiting around for toilet stops etc. because of the smallness of the group. Accommodation was first class, as were the included meals. I have done 5 Blue-Roads tours and so far, this was the very best one.

Expect to savour seafood menus, fine wines and charming accommodation, including Spain's Paradores - luxury hotels in castles, stately homes and historic sites, renowned for their excellent hospitality and traditional cuisine.
