The Lycian guided walk from Fettiye to Antayla was a wonderful experience with two very capable and personable guides… our leader Egemen and cultural guide Tuncay.
They were wonderful companions as well as expert guides. We were a small group and at times our pace was slow however adjustments were made accordingly. The coastal scenery was sensational and well worth the effort of walking up and down stony tracks! We swam every day, ate terrific authentic Turkish meals and the accomodation was very good. We learnt so much about this historic part of Turkey.

Very enjoyable week of walking on the scenic lycian way. The walks were all as descibed on the explore itinerary - some challenging, all rewarding. Our guide zep was great, informative on the history and culture without overloading us and with a fun personality. All very professionally run. Accommodation generally good and as described, though the last hotel in kas had no wifi in the rooms.which was irritating. The food throughout was excellent with generous amounts provided where it was included and good restaurant recommendations where it wasn't. The optional dune sunset trip at Patara was well worth doing, and the boat trip on the last day was a great, relaxing activity to finish on.

The "tour" was well organized and pace was appropriate. The accommodations were very good and the hotel staff members were very friendly and helpful. The leader was well informed about the cultural and natural history of the area and took the time to assess each participant's requirements, physical capabilities and personality. He successfully balanced the needs and interests of each individual with the expectations of the group as a whole.

Our trip to Egypt with World Expeditions was excellent. We had two guides, one for Cairo and one for the Nile and Aswan. Both had tertiary qualifications in Egyptian history and were passionate about it. It is an amazing country a nd a great, well run tour.

Everyone in the Explore office was knowledgeable and helpful - they went above and beyond to give details of the trip and discuss its suitability and logistics. And a great bonus - the phone was answered quickly without endless waiting.
I had been apprehensive about my ability to walk quite so far for the full 6 days, but it was perfectly paced and plenty of time for coffee and lunch stops. The scenery was varied and the villages delightful.
The highlight of the trip was having our guide, Spiros, who spoke great English, was passionate about his island and the trail, hugely knowledgable about the local flora and fauna, and on top of all that, funny and kind and intent on ensuring that everyone had a great time.

I had an exceptional, once-in-a-lifetime and unique experience on the G Adventures Walking in the Greek Islands tour. I loved the experience of not being the 'Chief Experience Officer' of the holiday for once, and was truely able to relax and enjoy myself. I would highly recommend this trip. It covered all the interesting areas in Puglia. Our guide Gabriele was fantastic, he went over and beyond what was expected, he made the trip entertaining and enjoyable for everyone with his stories and knowledge of Italian culture. Everyone in our group got along well which helped to make the trip a pleasure. From the food, drinks, to the execution of our activities, it was all a memorable experience. Great time of year in May to see the many wildflowers and greenery in the Italian countryside. Thanks.

I was excited to experience Greece & loved the variety of what the trip offered. Athens history, city area- sunsets, Island hopping , time on & in the water at beaches and off boats, wine tours, food & hiking ! Some of my favorite things.
