Completing the Portuguese Camino with luggage transfers, accommodation and itinerary organised made the self-guided hike even more enjoyable. The standard of hotels and rural B&B's was excellent. Most of the accommodation in Portugal had swimming pools which at the end of a hot walk was bliss. The initial communication when booking the trip was great and was always kept up to date. Would highly recommend this company and would use them again.

I couldn't have organized a trip like this myself. I cannot think of one thing the whole trip was fantastic or tour guide Michela , was so fantastic. You truly felt that you were family. She explained everything told us what we expect ahead of time took care of everyone’s needs and still made it so much fun a bunch of us were in our 70s and upper 70s and did not feel that we couldn’t keep up with the tour because it was done so well I think one of the best vacations that we ever took

They did everything they promised, but it is what they did above & beyond that stands them apart. We were caught in the fires in Portugal & they arranged transport to get us out of danger, changed hotel bookings to accommodate the new circumstances & made us feel very safe. We were more than impressed with the level of communication & service. I won't be looking anywhere else when I book my next trip.

What a fabulous tour! What can go wrong with Walking & Wine Tasting?? - Absolutely nothing....a fantastic tour and one that I/we were dubious about due to our lack of stamina for walking, however this was paced fabulously and the walking was wonderful with some stunning scenery. Accommodation was excellent (apart from one very basic hotel). The places visited were all different in there own way, but it was great to get out of Madrid and into Countryside.
The Group were great - A mix of Brits. Aussies. Americans and a Kiwi and all above the age of 50, but please don't let this put you off booking this tour!!
The Winery's & Bodegas visited were an excellent mix. The food, was truly amazing. Magdalena our Tour guide was fabulous and considering this was her first tour with Explore, she did a remarkable job.
