The comprehensive immersion into the culture and family life during the truffle hunt was the absolute best! Seeing the beauty, walking in the hills with the dogs, and seeing how the community truly lives off the land was very inspiring. The hosts were so open and patient with our many questions. The food was incredible and the overall experience will forever be a special memory for us.

Daniele the tour guide was excellent! He made several accommodations for portions of the tour group that required a good amount of research on his part. His English and knowledge of American culture were very strong as he brought to life the Italian culture and customs in a comparative fashion that enabled group members the ability to see and know unique differences between the two. Thanks Europamund for the trip, the one thing I liked the most was when we missed on some visits during the trip, you guys ensures we visited those places the next day even if the number of people were very less.
Being well taken care of at all times, tour agent & local guides were excellent in telling us history of Spain’s & Portugal’s castles & churches wherever we went! Hotels were satisfied, daily schedules well arranged except optional dinner was a bit over priced 😜
The trip was fabulous -beautiful places , lovely hotel and friendly warm staff , excellent food wine and our leader Veriano was so kind engaging fun and made the trip even more enjoyable and our group was fabulous. Would go back tomorrow! Highly recommend it!

Wonderful trip but too short. Martina was the best guide we ever had. She made even the long bus trips enjoyable. I would have liked a little more time in Pompeii but what we saw was interesting and our guide was very informative. The hotels were very nice and located well. I thought Sorrento was great. Only thing i would comment on is changing the hotels every two days was a bit much even though i realized we had a lot of real estate to cover.

The entire tour was an incredible experience. Every stop was filled with history, culture, architecture and always a culinary jackpot.
A few of the many favorites are the Prosecco vineyard visit with a pasta making class instructed by an authentic Nona. The entire group prepared the pasta from scratch and then enjoyed the fruits our labors for dinner.
We also had a wonderful evening at the home of an Italian Noble. Although they no longer hold titles, the home or estate had been in the family for over 500 years. Jacopo Shared his families history that dates back over 1000 years. After filling our minds either knowledge and eyes with amazing artwork and design, we were served one of the best meals in life.
In short, this experience has me wanting to return to Italy so that I can continue the experience into other areas and maybe just stay forever.
