This trip was exactly what I needed. After years of family holidays and work trips, doing something like this — just me, my wife, a car, and no daily schedule, felt like a throwback to how we used to travel. The best part? Overall the trip was very nice with lots to see and experience. It was very fast paced but that is the nature of these types of tours. There was some lack of communication on some days regarding the itinerary changes and start of free time at some cities. For example on day 7 in Zurich we were suppose to walk on a suspended bridge on the mountain but this did not happen. On Day 10 in Rome there was no indication of when the free time would start. I did try asking a few days before hand but did not get an answer. This can be an issue because for certain attractions, you have to get tickets a few days ahead of time and it is difficult to do that when you dont have a notion of when the free time to explore the city will start. The Guides were all very good and friendly, especial shout out to Isolda Shakira and Raid. Finally the Hotel in KITZBUHEL was beautiful but for some reason there were flies in the restaurant area which made for an unpleasant experience when eating the dinner and breakfast. The hotel in BUDAPEST was the best of all. One thing that could improve the experience is for Europamundo to send notifications to remind travelers to get tickets for certain attractions well ahead of time. For example, a few days before heading to Rome, send a notifications to travelers to book any tickets for the attractions they want to see during their free time. This would make the experience less stressful.

The whole trip was great. Our guide in Egypt was the best I have ever had. Henry was very knowledgeable and funny, and always on top of everything. My favorite things - Riding a camel at the pyramids, racing across the desert in the back of pickups at Wadi Rum in Jordan, Staying in a Nubian Village in Egypt, and the resort at the Dead Sea. Loved floating in the Dead Sea and being covered in mud. I skipped the last day tour and stayed at the resort for an all-day spa day. Well worth it!
