Experience Morocco’s vibrant cities, historic sites, and Sahara splendor in 9 days. Begin in Marrakech, traverse the Atlas Mountains, and venture into the Sahara for a magical camel trek. Traverse ancient Fes, the "Blue Pearl" Chefchaouen, and modern Casablanca, wrapping up your journey in vibrant Rabat.
The “second day” the flight is SUPER early and you have to leave the hotel at 4 am.
That was not communicated anywhere and we didn’t arrive at the hotel u til after 11 pm the night before. It made the morning very difficult!
Also, it would be helpful if there was a place by the day noting if women needed to cover shoulders/knees or men knees. When I was packing and googling, it said that at Kom Ombo (and most of the temples) it was recommended to have shoulder and knees covered, but when we got there I was told we didn’t need it. I had a lot more pants packed then I needed and that would have been helpful to know when I actually needed to wear more conservative clothing or having my hair covered.
Overall the itinerary was good. We saw a lot and had a great guide!
We were on the Steinberger cruise ship - I would not recommend that one again. Very limited. We were on Thai ship with another group from Trafalgar that paid less for the tour and we had no extras. We allowed one drink at dinner and one bottle of water.. anything more we had to pay for. They didn’t have coffee/tea available throughout the day for free. It seemed like they were nickel and diming the guests. I have been on other River cruises and unlimited water, beverages at dinner, and feee coffee/tea throughout the day in the lounge was accessible.
Explore Morocco's vibrant labyrinth and ever-changing scenery with a small group of solo-ish travellers. From the bustling medinas to the seaside villages and expansive Sahara, you'll discover the beauty of a fascinating culture, forging new friends along the way. Across 16 epic days, you'll be thrust into the hustle and bustle of Marrakech and Fes, be swept away by the vastness of the desert (on a camel’s back no less) and welcomed into the homes and hearts of Amazigh locals. Go surfing in Taghazout, wander through blue-washed walls in Chefchaouen, learn about sacred sites in Moulay Idriss and rub shoulders with locals in Ait Benhaddou. On this trip, you'll get a taste for adventure, nature, culture and culinary wonder and return home with more than just a full camera roll.

Italy. Just thinking about this country makes your mouth water, your stomach rumble and your jeans feel tighter. Gastronomic delights aside, this place has got history by the bucket load, landscapes that look like they’ve been photoshopped, cities so romantic even the biggest cynics will turn into Julia Roberts from Eat, Pray, Love, and more duomos, churches and piazzas than you can remember. So pack your fat pants, this trip is Italy done right.
This is a wonderful walking/sailing holiday where you can see places in Turkey that you wouldn't see on a typical tour. It was amazing to be hiking and stumble across ancient ruins in many places -- and not see a single other person. I imagined that I was walking in the footsteps of Homer.
What a wonderful e-bike and barge tour from Paris to Epernay. Highly recommend. The conduct of this tour was professional in every way. The scenery so beautiful, the guides so knowledgeable and expert in their roles and the Zwaantze barge itself a wonderful barge to call home for such a tour ably managed by the captain Bart and his team. We loved the experience. Also second tour we have been on the Zwaantze as we did the Bruges to Amsterdam bike and Barge tour in 2018. These tours are wonderful ways to travel and enjoy being active at the same time.
Great itinerary, the best introduction to Morocco one can wish for. I got lucky that our group was only 6 people and we had a great time and flexibility because of that. Itinerary was the best, great friendly local people always ready to help and gorgeous country that exceeded my expectations
What an amazing Holliday we have had. Fresh back from a 6 day hiking holiday in Gran Canaria and absolutely buzzing from the experience.
Our group was mixed ability and Rosie and Ben were excellent at attending to the different needs of the group. Everything was so well planned, taking all of the hassle out and leaving us to thoroughly enjoy the breathtaking views and absorb the Canarian culture.
Rosie and Ben were fabulous guides and even more fabulous companions, giving us loads of laughs, lots of culture, a wealth of geological and botanical knowledge, and above all, a blossoming friendship.
It is honestly the best holiday I have ever had and I’m now planning another bespoke trip for my family with this tour operator. Can’t wait.
