Traveling solo can be overwhelming, but the team made me feel safe, seen, and taken care of throughout the 9 days. Every detail was handled with care, from airport pickup to checking in at luxury hotels and the cruise.
My guide, Hany, was simply the best. He had a deep understanding of Egypt’s history, answered all questions with enthusiasm, and shared local insights you won’t find in books. The trip felt intimate and real, especially in Nubia and Abu Simbel where we connected with locals.
The Nile cruise was peaceful and elegant, the food was fresh and delicious, with options for vegetarians too. Staff were warm and generous, always offering help with a smile.
I left Egypt not just with beautiful memories, but with a sense of connection. This wasn’t a cookie cutter tour, it was crafted with heart.

We had a wonderful trip to Egypt planned by the local travel specialists. We saw everything we had hoped to see and enjoyed the expertise that our guides Yousra Ali and Mahmoud Badr provided. Our driver Zaher did a great job navigating the traffic in Cairo. Mahmoud our contact helped us get the COVID tests we needed to return home for which we are grateful.
The trip was well organized with some of the hotels on the trip being real gems especially the one in the agriturismo and the one in Monteriggioni. The team was responsive when I had questions both before and during the trip and the app was easy to use. We had a fantastic time and the route was gorgeous.

This was my first time in in Egypt, it was an unforgettable experience! After seeing the Great Pyramids in Giza I took an overnight train to Luxor and spent several days exploring everything Luxor has to offer. I found the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank to be particularly fascinating (So much Ancient Egyptian history in a relatively small area!). I then spent three nights on a Nile cruise towards Aswan. The weather was perfect and we stopped at two Ancient Egyptian temples, Edfu and Kom Ombo. My tour guide was a certified Egyptogolist named Ahmed Haggag Ali. He really seemed to enjoy being a tour guide and his English was perfect. He explained the temples to me and was able to answer all of my questions. Kom Ombo was particularly fascinating to me because it was an ancient hospital. After arriving in Aswan, Ahmed was also my tour guide for visiting Abu Simbel (Another must see part of Egypt!). I highly recomend visiting Egypt and having Ahmed as a guide, you will not be disappointed.

The hotels were great and well located. The hiking was challenging. The navigation worked well most of the time. Andros was a beautiful place and well worth visiting.
Recommend staying in Rafina the first night and taking the ferry the following morning. Otherwise it is a very long travel day.
Overall, the Conques to Cahors trip was fabulous with great accommodation and amazing hosts. However, there were a few little details that were not up to the same standard. Neither of us could get the navigation on the Guido app to work without constant errors and it was missing critical information, such as potable water fountains, cafes and supermarkets. I provided dietary information upon booking that I cannot eat pork, but was served pork for dinner on two occasions (not sure if that is just French hospitality or the information was not provided to the hosts). And our itinerary did not end up being as listed on the website, we had one day that was only 6.5kms and another day that was 28.5kms, which resulted in a very long day of walking.

A fantastic nine day trip through a beautiful section of the Dordogne, riding between hotels and visiting historic chateaus and towns along the way. The accommodation was excellent, the food was wonderful and the self-guided trip allows you to proceed at your own pace.
Our 9 day Moroccan Melodies trip is a great introduction to the captivating cities, small desert towns and archaeological sites that make up this wonderful country. The tour begins in coastal Casablanca where we view the huge Hassan II Mosque on the waterfront before heading to the capital city of Rabat to learn more about the history and culture of Morocco, both ancient and modern by visiting the main sites. From Rabat, we head out of the city to visit the intriguing Roman ruins found at Volubolis as well as the old imperial city of Meknes before travelling onto Fez where we explore the fantastic medieval Medina. From Fez we head into the dramatic landscape of the Atlas Mountains overlooking the Sahara desert. En-route we stop for a fun cooking class learning how to make the Moroccan staple, cous cous. We’ll then experience the natural beauty of the desert first-hand by taking part in a jeep safari and camel ride before watching sun set over the desert dunes and sleeping under the stars in a traditional Berber camp. We continue our tour through the imposing desert landscape with stops at the oasis town of Tinghir and the unique rock formations found at Todra Gorge. The tour then travels back down to Marrakech through the Atlas Mountains with further stops at Ouarzazate and the UNESCO site of Ait Benhaddou. Upon your return to Marrakech, you can extend your tour with a few more days in the city, or even include a few days on the coast at Essaouira.

Travelling at your own pace, you'll combine the elegance of eternal favourites like Ravello, Positano and Sorrento with discoveries most travellers never make such as farmers harvesting olives, fishermen crouched over brightly painted boats mending their nets and the bird's eye view of the entire peninsula from the Path of the Gods above Positano.
From Ravello, whose exotic formal gardens at Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone seem to float ethereally between sea and sky, your route takes you first to Positano's chic pastel houses and enticing pebble beach. It's then on to Marina del Cantone, and the hidden shingle coves few visitors ever find. Finally you reach cliff-top Sorrento. With balcony views over Vesuvius, it's a great base to visit Pompeii or Herculaneum by train, or Capri or Ischia by boat.
