Wow ! what a week I have just had in Israel on the Biblical Trip. I travelled on my own and joined a group of 11 others who were all lovely and we soon become one big family. Out guide Hilick from Rent a Guide was brilliant, so informative on the history and politics of his country. On this trip I went to places I would not of gone to independently. My recent trip to Egypt was nothing short of extraordinary, encompassing the vibrant city of Cairo, the iconic Pyramids, and a mesmerizing Nile cruise. An excellent trip. The pace of the trip is perfect. A week flew by and we felt we had been all over the Puglia region. So much to do and see in such a short space of time and yet we managed to relax and get some free time in too. Good photo opportunities. Ephesus with ancient streets,roman toilets,columns,mosaics and carving of menorah. Amazing amphitheatre at Parmakeele,The Thermal Springs. Lots of people but lots of space. White rocks fab,water not warm,skin felt refreshed after dip. Hotels used were high quality. Breakfasts delicious. Time to visit museum shops and time for coffee break.
