From the moment we left Marrakech, we were taken on a journey through some of Morocco's most stunning landscapes, including the majestic High Atlas Mountains, the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, and the vast, serene dunes of Erg Chigaga. The drive was long but scenic, and every stop offered a chance to appreciate Morocco’s history and natural beauty, from ancient kasbahs to lush oases. Spending the night in the desert under a blanket of stars was a highlight—our camp was luxurious, with comfortable beds and an authentic Moroccan ambiance. Riding camels across the dunes at sunset was an unforgettable experience. A huge part of what made this tour so special was our driver, Hakim. He was not only an excellent driver but also a fantastic guide, sharing his extensive knowledge of Morocco’s history, culture, and geography. Hakim made us feel safe and well-cared for throughout the entire journey, and his friendly demeanor and sense of humor added a personal touch to the trip. His expert driving skills ensured a smooth and comfortable ride, even on the rough desert roads, and he was always ready to make stops for photo opportunities or interesting landmarks. I have used them twice now, and both times have been amazing. The first time was for my honeymoon in Thailand and Cambodia (2017). We were able to tailor everything to our needs and even upgraded to fancier hotels and excursions we wanted without an issue. All the guides were wonderful and everything was seamless. The second time we went to Peru/Bolivia (2019), which was new to them at the time. They put together a wonderful trip that had only very minor hiccups - a couple of times we had to reach out to figure out who our guide was for the next day and get pick up times, or our guide info was incorrect. This was all due to them not having planned trips in South America yet, so it was a learning curve for them. They have since added basically our trip to their website. All in all, I will absolutely keep using them for our trips.

We took a 10 days trip from Marrakesh to Fes, through Ourzazat and Merzuga desert. Our driver was Mokhtar. We had wonderful time. mokhtar is a very skilled and friendly driver, knowing a lot about every region of Moroco. He knows good photo spots as well. The hotel we stayed in Ourzazat was boutique and very relaxing. The second night we stayed in a luxury camp at the desert, which was above the expectations. A great experience to see a lot of Morocco in relatively short time - I highly recommend Top Desert Tours and Mohamed! My room mate and I made the decision to embark on this adventure, and we both agree that it was without a doubt the most memorable experience of our lives. Mohamed, our tour guide, was really kind and helpful during our time together, and he took very good care of us. The desert is a breathtaking and beautiful place to visit. The accommodations were wonderful, and they even had a pool. Along the route, there were a number of rest spots with restrooms and refreshment areas . We had a great time participating in the many outdoor activities that were available, particularly the horseback riding, hiking, and quad biking. I highly recommend them!

Our tour with Anouar was fantastic! He was an amazing guide and shared so much about the Moroccan culture, traditions and people throughout our travels. Although the driving time was quite long, we were able to view so much of the countryside and stop to take pictures whenever we wanted. The scheduled tour stops were beautiful and Anouar would tell us where to get the best pictures or give us some background on its history. The riad and desert camp were also fabulous - very clean, well decorated and both had delicious meals.
