I had such a wonderful experience on the Inca Trail trip. The G Adventures staff were all enthusiastic, engaged and knew what was needed to make the trip exciting, educational and enjoyable.
I recommend G Adventures to anyone interested in being immersed into a new culture and and enjoying an experience of a lifetime.

Combine Peru's incredible landscapes, culture and cuisine with unforgettable wildlife encounters in the Galapagos on this awesome 18-day adventure. Start by eating your way around local markets in Cusco, retracing the steps of the Incas at Machu Picchu and visiting the Uros people who live on floating islands made of reeds on Lake Titicaca. Then, make your way to Quito – the capital of Ecuador – to explore its historic streets before heading to the Galapagos. With an action-packed week on land and underwater, you’ll hike up the rocky slopes of Sierra Negra Volcano, visit flamingo lagoons, snorkel in a bay home to a sea lion colony, and so much more.
My husband and I had a wonderful trip, but our friends, who aren't as physically fit, had a hard time in the high altitudes - something to consider if you are older and not in good shape. The country is beautiful, the people were very friendly, and our main and local guides were wonderful.
Excellent. Enjoyed the diverse country, accommodation, sites visited especially Titicaca and of course Machu Picchu. Zema is quietly confident and very competent. Handles diverse characters really well. Lunches included were at outstanding restaurants. Tolerable delays waiting for rides and minor inconveniences dragging luggage through narrow streets etc.
Embark on a captivating 10-day journey through Ecuador and Peru. Start in Quito, exploring its historic sites and stunning viewpoints. Discover the majestic Cotopaxi National Park and the ancient Ingapirca Archaeological Complex. Experience the cultural richness of Cuenca and the vibrant city of Guayaquil.
Then, fly to Cusco, where you'll delve into Inca history and visit the Sacred Valley's remarkable ruins. Conclude your adventure with an unforgettable tour of Machu Picchu, before exploring Lima’s historic center. This tour combines breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and unforgettable experiences in two incredible countries.

Arturo was a fantastic leader and guide. Knowledgable, helpful, caring, experienced and amusing. This was my 11th Explore holiday and Arturo is up there with the best guides. The porters and cooks are heroes - we were very happy to tip them generously. The itinerary was perfect, though no one should underestimate the challenge of around ten hours walking on day three. Cusco hotel staff were fine but the layout around a central atrium means the rooms are very noisy. The hotel near Machu Picchu was lovely but the staff were rude, unhelpful and disinterested. Overall I’d fully recommend this trip - but be sure to get into shape beforehand and consider your kit carefully.
