This tour was exceptional and I selected it because of the location, activities, and Collette's reputation. I received so much more.
I highly recommend taking the 2 optional tours offered because these are very unique and indicative of the area and culture.
My most favorite evening was the second home hosted dinner where we were warmly greeted and welcomed being allowed to explore the back yard while meats were grilled and wine served then indoors for tapas, more wine, dessert, and codials plus a video of the bull running celebration. It was like being with family.
The food walking tour in Lisbon was terrific as well as the Sulphur Springs at the botanical garden; both included in the tour.
Last but not least, the tour manager was exceptional, putting his heart and soul into each day to have it be special for everyone. He gladly wore many hats and pitched in at restaurants so we could have an easy, flowing experience. Joao held the tour together with his organizational ability.

Wonderful trip. Loved the culture and the food. A nice mix of cathedrals and castles and monasteries. Sintra was excellent and loved the Cork Farm tour and also the winery. River boat ride in Porto was good as well as the Port tasting. Excellent trip overall and exactly what I was expecting. Fredy was always available and communicative. He really made the trip spectacular.

Although described as a fast paced tour(which it was), it was a good introduction to visiting Portugal with many highlights as well as vising some lesser known parts. As someone who had not been to Portugal before and as it is so easy to get to from the UK, it was a taster for maybe visiting the country again and exploring other regions.

GAdventures has managed (again) to send me on a journey worth taking. I enjoyed all aspects of our travels: accommodations, recommended restaurants, planned activities, suggested options and more. Two of the countries on our itinerary were new to me and I feel that the amount of time spent in the various locations is enough to give one a taste of what they're all about. The CEOs are great and an asset to the whole travel experience.

Lisbon was awesome as was the Island Maderia. One of the issues that upset me was the fact that the tour manager assumed that all of us had cell phones. He was texting all of his directions to everyone. I told him that wouldn't work with me. I don't own a cell phone. He did start giving some directions at night verbally, but I still didn't get all of his directions that he texted to everyone else.
