It was a magical, once in a lifetime trip. I had so much fun and it was everything I hope it would be and more. Our CEO, safaris, accommodation, travel and food were all excellent. This was my third G Adventures tour and by far the best!
Lovely trip, this is my second explore trip, the first was a very experienced guide in Costa Rica, Nathi was our guide for this one he said he was new to explore, what he lacked in explore experience he gained in his buzzing personality and local knowledge, he was a great kind and considerate guide nothing was too much trouble. He arranged things and recommend things sharing his knowledge freely. As he gets more experience he’ll be a great asset to Explore. You never know what people you’ll get on such a holiday and I’m always a bit apprehensive since I don’t suffer fools. Fortunately everyone seemed to bond by the end of the 2 weeks. Re the itinerary it was a good balance, maybe include the wine tasting as part of it instead of an option.

My husband and I chose this tip to Africa as our honeymoon and I am so glad we did. This trip was the kind that many only dream about. It was so raw, showing the real Africa. Excellent. Trip of a life time. Very interesting loved to seeing the animals in their natural habitat but the cultural aspect that were the included aspects but also the additional paid excursions. Many of the expert added guides were very very good adding lots to the trip. I especially liked the guide/researcher to the Namibia in the desert who took us for a tour in the desert describing how the flora and fauna survived without rain etc.so very interesting. I also enjoyed the tour in the Botanical Garden in Cape Town, very interesting but too short. The only caution is that if you take this tour, you need to be aware of the long rides, usually necessary due to the isolation of some sites, and lots of early mornings. Always need to be prepared for lots of tipping on a daily basis. Overall, would highly recommend
