The north of Thailand was my FAVOURITE. I loved the diverse range of 'stays' which kept it exciting and much like an adventure and showed what Thailand had to offer. The Jungle Raft on the second night was an essential bonding experience for the group and allowed us to build friendships and enjoy the trip way more than if we hadn't had that crucial opportunity to connect. The included experiences, free time add ons, and even trip manager suggestions were all top tier! I didn't regret a single experience. 2 night stays were also a relief as travelling can get quite tiring and found that their timing was essential.

Would I recommend this particular adventure to a friend, in a word no. However I would caveat this with I had a great time and I would definitely recommend G adventures as a tour group and these three countries are definitely worth visiting. It's only a couple of small points that need 'ironing out' which is understandable considering the relatively new itinerary that has been created. Our CEO minty ensured a smooth tour and I suspect that another tour guide would have handled the issues not as effectively. Thank you, G Adventures, for a wonderful once in a lifetime experience.

My food restrictions were a challenge, but Andy would stay to help explain to waiters for me.
We loved the random stops on the road, to visit local food huts markets. I really enjoyed the bicycle ride to the temple ruin and through the park. The elephants were super fun and cute - a very authentic experience.

I had a great time on this tour, it was a really great way to take the stress and anxiety out of going to a new country by yourself and not knowing the language. It was good mix of activities, nature, temples, cities, and food. The experience I had with them felt far more authentic and less touristy than the other tour I booked right after the trip in Hanoi. This was a trip of a lifetime! Our trip manger always went above and beyond for our group and ensured everything ran smoothly. There was a great mix of culture, history, fun and great food! The people on this trip made it even more special. Despite many days in temple wear with the heat, this will be a trip hard to match. The jungle rafts in Thailand and slow boat in Laos were definitely a highlight.
