I rarely write reviews, but my experience deserves recognition. I traveled with a small group of friends, and what impressed us most was the agency’s flexibility and professionalism. We started from Jerusalem and crossed the Allenby Bridge, where JHT’s representative helped us through what could have been a confusing process. From there, everything was smooth sailing. In Madaba and Mount Nebo, we had time to reflect on the biblical history, while our guide shared both historical facts and heartfelt local stories. When we reached Petra, I was blown away—not only by the site itself, but also by the way our guide balanced exploration with rest. He suggested shaded routes, provided cold water, and even pointed out photo opportunities that gave us memories for life. Wadi Rum was another highlight: we had a thrilling 4x4 jeep ride across the desert, followed by a quiet evening of stargazing. The camp was clean and comfortable, with warm Jordanian hospitality. What I appreciated most was the balance between adventure and comfort, history and relaxation. The travel operator understood our needs better than we did ourselves, and that’s the mark of a truly professional travel company.
Another wonderful trip with World Expeditions. In addition to the expected highlights of Petra, Wadi Rum, snorkelling in the Red Sea and floating in the Dead Sea, the unexpected delights of visiting a local family at Um Qais (and cooking/dining with them), the expansive Roman ruins at Jerash and our extraordinary driver Firas made this trip wonderful.
The small additional cost of having a representative meet us at the airport and guide us through immigration was well worth it. The process was very quick and smooth.
We would thoroughly recommend this trip.

This trip exceeded all expectations and guidebook descriptions. Petra, Wadi Rum, Mount Neto and Jerash are all very different, and each is fantastic and beautiful in its own way. The Jordanian people are friendly, gentle and helpful. Camping in the dessert and watching the night sky was a highlight. The day are busy but not so full that you can't enjoy yourself. I flew home wanting to go back again next week. I loved this trip. Our guide Saleh was brilliant and told us wonderful stories about the history, culture and facts of each place we visited. He was our Jordan Dad, buying us little treats such as meejol dates and mint tea. Saleh also shared tales from his own life to give us a deeper insight into living and working in Jordan.
