Loved it all. The usual mix of guided tours and free time, with excellent hotels and a good crowd on the bus. Of course in any country there is so much to see and one tour cannot see it all but this was certainly a great effort at experiencing as much as possible within my time and budget constraints.

Great experience! We saw wonderful parts of Japan, including Tokyo, Mt. Fuji, and Hiroshima. The hotels were wonderful! Our travel director was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. My advice to Trafalgar is to reduce the number of visits to temples and shrines. Maybe allow more free time. Also, there were too many set Japanese meals with no options.

Our tour through Japan was a wonderful experience The sights, food, and people alike were all so memorable and brought us a great sense of the culture and history of Japan. Our tour guide Ken Igarashi gave us a great introduction to the sights of Tokyo and shared with us some of his vast knowledge and insight about historical events and landmarks, which was very appreciated. Our next tour guide, David Solanes, was a fantastic guide that went out of his way to explain the importance and impact of all the places we visited during our trip. His dedication to his work really shined through and made our tour one of the most unforgettable experiences of our lives. Definitely recommend having Ken or David as a tour guide

David Solanes was our guide and he was amazing, taking considerable care of everyones questions be they related to the tour events, free time or other aspects of the country, culture and travel. He provided excellent contextual overviews and made the experience for everyone fun and most enjoyable. He was great at getting everyone moving through the events without a lot of waiting on others... truly passionate about the tour stops and ensuring all had a great time.
