This was an unforgettable trip and we truly had a great time. Yangyang Li was very good in helping put the tour together. When we had a couple of hiccups during the trip, Yangyang was always very fast to act and make arrangements if something was not to our liking. Join us on the Whale Shark Sumbawa tour for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the gentle giant whale sharks in their natural habitat. This 3-day tour includes snorkeling, a boat trip to find the whale sharks, a motorbike adventure to see the waterfalls, accommodation, a guide, transportation, and some meals.
Wild whale sharks are found in some parts of Indonesia, including Saleh Bay in Sumbawa, where up to 60 sharks have been seen. Known as the largest living fish, the whale shark can be over 18 meters long with a 1.5-meter-long mouth.
In our experience, the best time to see whale sharks is when during the new moon. Although we can't predict when the whale sharks will be there, if the weather conditions are stable, all times of the year—except on the full moon— are good times to spot the whales.

Your journey starts on arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport from where we will transfer you to your beach accommodation in Tabanan. Pedal through the iconic terraced rice fields of Jatiluwih on the second day of the trip and ride through the rugged interior of the island, from Mount Abang to Amed, the day after.
You will also get the chance to discover the Japanese shipwreck off the coast of Amed, summit Mount Batur and ride downhill from the outer crater rim of Mount Batur all the way down to Ubud.
