The trail is located high in the Peruvian Andes climbing gradually from the valley floor (2,700 m/8,856 ft) to the most spectacular mountain passes (as high as 4,215 m/13,825 ft). At every turn, the surrounding scenery will take your breath away!
Hiking the 4-day Classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is a strenuous and awe-inspiring adventure. We will push ourselves to our physical limits, resting each night under the stunning Andean night sky.

Overall a great trip with a phenomenal CEO in JC however the Puno portion of the trip and the kayaking left a bad taste in the mouth. It very much felt that we were being shipped to different locations just to give people money for things we didn?t want and the kayaking itself was just an hour and a half of straight paddling from one island to another. I would recommend avoiding Puno if possible.

Amazing experience. Inca trail and homestay were standout highlights. Trip could have been better organised to minimise unnecessary travel. Rainbow mountain was too busy and felt unsustainable (something at odds with the g culture we love).
