The cooking class in Sapa complete with the best view was a highlight—learning how to make fresh spring rolls and other local dishes from local chefs, followed by a delicious meal that we all shared together, felt so authentic. But the real adventure came in Sapa. Trekking through the terraced rice fields with the mist rolling in, we were surrounded by breathtaking views that seemed straight out of a postcard. Throughout the trip, Chris was more than just a leader—he became a friend to each of us. His sense of humor, care, and genuine passion for his country made every experience more meaningful. Whether it was cracking jokes during long bus rides or patiently helping us navigate new environments, he made sure we felt supported and safe at every step of the way. By the time we reached our final destination, it was hard to believe that only two weeks had passed. What started as a group of strangers became a circle of friends with memories we’ll cherish forever. The friendships I made on this trip, along with the activities and experiences that were curated so thoughtfully, made this Vietnam adventure one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
