Our visit of Ronda was extraordinary. From the moment we stepped out our cruise ship, Thomas was there to welcome us to Malaga. Before leaving for Ronda, he took us on a short walk through downtown Malaga and we felt the pride he has for his own town. The drive to Ronda is an 1hour 1/2 and Thomas took the times to point out all the local highlights along the way. Once in Ronda, Thomas made sure that we were aware of the history and the beauty of the area. He also made sure we had a good lunch with a spectacular view overlooking the gorge. Overall our excursion to Ronda was delightful not only because of the beautiful scenery and the interesting history but largely because of Thomass considerate guidance throughout. We would highly recommend to do an excursion with Thomas Liedtke. Among all the guide we had, he is the best by far.

A tour of 8 people plus our guide and driver, a perfect number for our van. A most enjoyable 2 weeks seeing the highlights of Turkey with some fine company My expectations were pleasantly met as to the variety of our itinerary be it mosques, historical sites, Greek/Roman/Underground cities, temples, ruins, natural attractions. I felt at times we were rushed a little through some Greek/Roman cities however I understand we all move at a different pace to take in these wonders, mine perhaps being slower The hotels were a mix of mainly 3 star with the occasional 4 star and all were suitable for a quiet nights rest. The breakfasts and occasional dinner on offer did vary in quality but I personally found them to be fine. I opted for the single-supplement accommodation however it was random as to whether I was given a room with 2 single beds or 1 double bed (preferable), there was no option given at check-in so that was disappointing. I also chose the tour lunch pack but in hindsight there was no need as eating choices were abundant for our luncheons I was pleased I opted for the excursion to Troy and Gallipoli which included a visit to the ancient site of Pergamon en-route, and I considered the hotel in Canakkale the best hotel of the trip I would most certainly recommend Eskapas and this tour for some wonderful lifetime memories of Turkey

He was fantastic!!! He was extremely knowledgable of all the places we visited throughout Romania. It was all natural for him and it was not scripted and he knew the history of each sight. He was very laid back and was never in a rush. He had a great personality and a good sense of humor. He made our entire trip fun and interesting. He took us to all of the main sights on our itinerary, as well as some off the beaten path sights. We got a true understanding and feeling of what life in Romania is all about. The hotels they booked us in were all conveniently located to all of the main attractions and were all unique boutique type hotels. Lauentui knew where all the great restaurants were along the way and we ate like kings and the food was excellent. Romania is a vast and beautiful country. Everything ran smooth and was perfect.
