A great way to experience Croatia. However, we feel that some of the optional experiences should be INCLUDED (specifically the lunch at the family-owned winery) and a little more time spent in the STON area would have been nice.
Lisbon was awesome as was the Island Maderia. One of the issues that upset me was the fact that the tour manager assumed that all of us had cell phones. He was texting all of his directions to everyone. I told him that wouldn't work with me. I don't own a cell phone. He did start giving some directions at night verbally, but I still didn't get all of his directions that he texted to everyone else.

Experience the incredible Gothic architecture, legends and castles of Dracula, lush enchanting forests and fairy tale-like villages as you journey through Transylvania. Hit the beautiful Adriatic coastlines of Dubrovnik and Montenegro, the charming old towns and moving stories of Bosnia, the endearing quirkiness and colourful facades of capital cities Tirana and Skopje. With a mix of Greek, Slavic and Ottoman influences, the Balkans and Transylvania is nothing short of character! Discover the hidden gems for yourself as you journey through on this 17-day adventure.
Wear comfortable shoes. Cobblestones make walking difficult with progressive glasses. Our tour guide was excellent. The use of What’s App made communication among travelers well informed of times and departures. Foods were delicious and varied.
I thoroughly enjoyed my journey from Madrid, through Portugal, and into Morocco, including the desert extension. The group leaders were fantastic, and the itinerary was thoughtfully organized. The local guides were outstanding, and the accommodations were comfortable, adding to the overall experience.
Hop on an unforgettable journey through the lands of myths and legends that still continue to resonate today! Discover the timeless wonders and stories of Dracula as you explore Transylvania inside out, a most fascinating part of Romania. Starting off at the Romanian capital, Bucharest, soak in the unique culture reflected in the countless monuments of this magical city. Ride through the mystical forests, mountains and mists to reach the Dracula's Castle. Travel back in time through gorgeous samples of gothic and baroque architecture from various eras of Romanian history. Uncover the hidden beauty of Bulgaria while discovering Plovdiv and Sofia.
Our fabulous tour guide led us through the charming cities and towns of Croatia and Slovenia. Highlights included Lake Bled, the Postojna caves, Plitvice lakes/falls, and Dubrovnik. The pace was well planned and there was free time for us to explore on our own. All our hotels were very nice. My only negative would be the size of the group; at 48, it was too large for walking tours and getting on/off the bus, but everyone was very prompt.
Journey from the shores of the Caspian Sea to Constantinople; explore the mountains, monasteries and unique cultures and cuisine of the Caucasus. You will follow the routes of trade and conquest in the footsteps of Mongol, Persian and Ottoman armies to the borders of Byzantium. Discover ancient underground cities and Silk Road caravanserai and the contemporary tea fields and silk manufacture on this Silk Road to Istanbul.
Florin is a great tour operator, very knowledgeable, very helpful, very nice, very comfortable on this tour, and very friendly. If I go to another tour I want him to be our guide.
