The best tour we have ever been on. Magdalena was a fantastic guide! She was extremely well prepared and organised, knowledgeable and lots of fun. Magdalena went out of her way to find new experiences that she thought the group would enjoy. We walked to places that we would never have found by ourselves and stayed in villages that were off the tourist track. The hotels were clean and comfortable. We are already looking for other walks run by Explore World and preferably led by Magdalena.

The Hotel were ok but did not cater to the tourist. The rooms did not have the use of the fans and found the air stagnant. A little air moving would helped.
The Hotel in Sicily in Jiardini Naxos, Caeser palace, found the hotel desk determinitly unhelpful.
I’ve always loved Italy, but doing it by rail added a special touch. Over eight days, we hit Rome, Florence, Venice, and wrapped up in Milan, all by high-speed train. The pace worked perfectly for me (I’m 58), with fresh city arrivals each morning and comfortable hotels each night
The highlights: a hop-on hop-off loop in Rome hit the Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain , an optional wine tasting tour that I booked in Florence and Venice’s gondola ride. Everything flowed perfectly well..no dragging suitcases or missed trains.

After experiencing the vibrant city of Dublin, you will then drive west through the stunning countryside to County Galway, for two nights in the charming Abbeyglen Castle Hotel, nestled in the romantic setting of the Twelve Bens with beautiful views overlooking Clifden Bay. Enjoy exploring the beautiful Connemara region, before heading south through County Clare “the land of castles” to County Kerry.
