Very enjoyable week of walking on the scenic lycian way. The walks were all as descibed on the explore itinerary - some challenging, all rewarding. Our guide zep was great, informative on the history and culture without overloading us and with a fun personality. All very professionally run. Accommodation generally good and as described, though the last hotel in kas had no wifi in the rooms.which was irritating. The food throughout was excellent with generous amounts provided where it was included and good restaurant recommendations where it wasn't. The optional dune sunset trip at Patara was well worth doing, and the boat trip on the last day was a great, relaxing activity to finish on.
This tour was a wonderful experience. A nice size at 28 happy people, luxurious coach, amazing driver & guide extraordinaire . Accommodations were very good & often pleasantly out of the ordinary. The optional activities are worth the extra expense. Highly recommend this tour.
A bite of the Balkans, a dash of Central Europe and a slice of the Mediterranean – on this 17-day adventure, you’ll get a sample of Europe’s diverse delights. Wander through Dubrovnik’s World Heritage-listed Old Town, set on the shores of the Adriatic, then explore Plitvice Lakes National Park near Zagreb. Travel up the Dalmatian Coast and cross into Slovenia, where adventure junkies can get their fix biking, hiking, canyoning or caving. Head on to Italy and live out your grandest gondola and tiramisu fantasies in Venice, stroll the twisting trails between Cinque Terre's towns and see the artworks that inspired the Renaissance in Florence. Then, end it all in Rome – an epic hotspot with so much to see and do (including one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Colosseum)!
I don't like planning trips and couldn't find a time that worked to travel with a friend, so decided to go on a group tour, and this trip was a great choice! I was really impressed with the organization of the trip, I loved the mix of planned activities and downtime, and I'm really glad I went.
The whole itinerary was fantastic and I loved every minute of it. My only comment relates to finding places to purchase lunches and getting back to the bus on time. Some towns required a long walk to find a food outlet which then puts you under pressure to return to the bus.
These are full days packed with lots of information, the bus and all the people in it become family. You don’t have to be fit but there is a lot of walking. They help to get you into places where you’d otherwise have to queue up for hours. Amazing scenery
On a journey through the less-traveled country roads of Umbria and Tuscany, discover another side to the Italy you love. Stroll Assisi’s old city, and explore the Umbrian hill town of Spoleto, where the gilded façade of the cathedral rivals with the silvery sheen of the olive trees. Visit Florence, the “Cradle of the Renaissance.” In Siena, stand inside one of Tuscany’s most ancient piazzas. Admire the famous towers of San Gimignano and hunt for truffles in the Umbrian countryside. Delight in regional specialties and Italian wine with every dinner. Feel like a local as you discover the marvels of wine, cuisine, culture, and history.
Lose yourself in three of Europe's most enchanting countries on this 22-day adventure from Barcelona to Rome. Discover Provencal food and world-class wines as you wander through Europe’s high rollers in the French Riviera, and feast on beautiful sights in the cliff-top towns of Cinque Terre. Then, travel in the footsteps of Gaudi and Picasso and taste those local drops and plates of tapas. See flamenco in Seville, explore the grandeur of Alhambra Palace in Granada and visit Sagrada Familia – the largest unfinished Catholic church in the world.
The itinerary was great, perhaps a bit fast ie really didn't get enough time at places. Maybe future trips could include an extra day so Port Isaac could be included

This 17-day adventure around Italy takes in some of the most ancient sites in European history and shows you the lesser-known countryside, too. With a local by your side, you’ll explore the bustling streets of Rome, then travel through beautiful countryside past villas, vineyards and rolling hills as you visit historical sites like Pompeii, Lecce and the Sassi dwellings in Matera. There’s plenty of free time available to explore the area and take in the sites at your own pace, whether you want to indulge in food and wine or enjoy local experiences.
