My husband and I had an amazing day. I can highly recommend this tour to everyone who comes to visit Iceland. Travelling by mini bus is much more convenient. We were picked up in time from the hotel we agreed on as we stayed at a different place. One of the highlights of the tour was our amazing guide Fannar. This was definitely one of the highlights of my trips abroad. Northern Pakistan is breathtaking and this travel specialist made it an incredible experience. Sultan made it easy in the beginning by answering all of my questions and providing documentation required for the Visa process. His brother Hassan was our driver to Fairy Meadows and Hunza Valley and honestly, I made sure not to nod off in the car because of so much beauty on the road. We had really great hotels to stay and if there were any issues, Sultan would be on top of it. He made great lenghts to make sure our tour group was doing fine. Really grateful too as I was not feeling well late one evening. Sultan's brother was able to drive me to a medical clinic to get medication. We also got to enjoy a meal and time with Sultan's lovely family. What I respect most about this agency is that they are culturally and environmentally responsible so you really feel like they care about their home. Experience of a lifetime!

We had an absolutely incredible time in Peru thanks to these guys. We arrived in Lima and visited Huacachina, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain. We decided to include a city tour of Cusco instead of the Humantay Lake hike as this would have been to strenuous for one of our friends, and this decision was perfect. It was a great recommendation by Erik who helped us with our itinerary. During our time in Peru, Pilar was exceptional with 24/7 assistance, helping us make reservations in restaurants and being there for us no matter what. Superb!
All the sites visited were worth it. Not too many people (except from Machu Picchu which was very crowded of course) and what we loved was that we arrived before the crowds. The company promised big time on that and they OVERDELIVERED! We were all so happy. 5 stars and all the best for you!
This travel operator provided us with a two-day trek to Machu Picchu that has to be experienced to be truly understood. Their crew of porters and cook provided exceptional service and meals. David's knowledge was outstanding and his attention to detail in regards to accommodation travel and gear storage was second to none. We loved this trip. Yes, some of the hotels were pretty average, yes a few didn't have hot water, and yes some had extremely inefficient staff, but that's not what you are going for.
We got to visit the Kamakhya temple in Guwahati which should be on the itinerary. Each place we visited throughout the trip was very much worth the time and effort to get there. Even on the long drive days the stops didn't feel like just fillers that you might get somewhere else.
Kaziranga National Park was a lovely day and we saw a lot of elephant and dozens of rhino. So much more than we thought we might, and at a lot closer quarter too.
The trek down to the root bridges at Cherrapunjee was another highlight. It is a big effort as described in the notes and in other reviews, but worth every step. They are remarkable. We walk a lot, but never previously used walking poles, however, we did on this day and I'd highly using them. The hotel there is lovely with great views over the Sylhet plains into Bangladesh.
Hornbill Festival was incredible and a massive highlight. Our guide, Pema, got us to the festival nice and early and we were able to experience all the tribal groups entering the arena to take their places, all singing, chanting, drumming. Absolutely wonderful and an experience we will remember for a long time. And a second day to fully absorb it. Amazing, loved it!
The Majuli Island stay was another totally different environment. The ferry to and from is a great experience. The temple visits were beautiful and a contrast to the full on craziness of Hornbill Festival. It was also really lovely to be able to walk through small villages and meet local people.
The day at Longwa village was another extraordinary time. Meeting the ex headhunters, a wander through the hilltop border village, a great lunch in a longhouse. So different from anywhere else we've been.
And the last night in a lovely old colonial tea bungalow and time meeting the ladies picking leaves on the plantation was a lovely treat.
Things don't work in this part of the world as you may be accustomed to, but just go with it and this trip will reward you with some extraordinary experiences.

They cover everything on the way. Southern Iceland tour was good and our guide was a knowledgeable lady with an experience of travelling to over 55 countries. Only request is to increase the duration of visit at destinations by 10-15mins at least. This can be done by reducing time spent at super markets and cafes.
Our guide wise engaging and knowledgeable. He has trekked extensively in the Andes. He was very conscientious and attentive. He checked his frequently about altitude sickness as well. It was a great tour!
Our tour leader Libby has done an excellent job guiding us and leading us in all the right directions. This tour is highly recommended and if you happen to meet Libby you are in for a treat.
