Upon reaching Luxor, the pace quickens, and the river teems with activity. Optional excursions beckon to the legendary temples of Abu Simbel, relocated to higher ground to escape the encroaching waters of Lake Nasser.
As the journey draws to a close, the ship bids farewell, either in Luxor following the 12-day expedition or in Aswan after the extended 15-day odyssey. The Egypt and Red Sea tour was an excellent way to see and learn about Egypt. The guide (Mariam) was extremely knowledgeable and catered for everyone’s needs. The Red Sea extension was the perfect way to relax after a busy tour.
