Wear comfortable shoes. Cobblestones make walking difficult with progressive glasses. Our tour guide was excellent. The use of What’s App made communication among travelers well informed of times and departures. Foods were delicious and varied.

This G Adventures trip was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed the experience. It can be quite fast paced but it’s a great way to see and learn about lots of places in Central Europe in short amount of time.

If you can, take an extra day at each end of the trip. Everyone in my group loved both Prague and Budapest! Could’ve spent a week in each city on this trip, but we saw the highlights and had a variety of experiences that made it definitely worthwhile.
TD and driver were so much fun and made our trip even better.
A great trip I would highly recommend to those interested in this style of travel, made all the more enjoyable thanks to the skill & dedication of our wonderful tour leader!

I couldn't have organized a trip like this myself. Usually I was someone who organized the logistics for her own travel but using G Adventures meant that I didn't have to worry about booking hostels or figuring out public transportation. The Budapest to IstanbulTour through less visited countries in Europe was great! Romania was a highlight with beautiful scenery and great character. The opportunity to travel through more remote/ countryside destinations throughout Hungary Romania Bulgaria was wonderful. It would be difficult to do this trip by yourself.
