Keen trekkers searching for a challenging yet rewarding Kilimanjaro ascent will find the 6-day Machame Route—known as the “Whiskey” route—irresistible. Compared to Marangu, expect longer, steeper hiking days and more dramatic scenery, from the vast Shira Plateau to the towering Barranco Wall. The route’s climb-high, sleep-low strategy aids acclimatization and boosts summit success rates, while nights in tents under the stars appeal to those with a taste for adventure. A thorough equipment check and pre-trek briefing ensure you’re well prepared for this iconic journey, making this trekking package a favorite for experienced hikers seeking both challenge and visual splendor.
Join us on this four-day, guided tour and make the most of your short stay in Tanzania with a visit to two of its iconic national parks. Serengeti National Park, your first wildlife destination, is famous for its huge concentration of wildlife, especially big cats, as well as for being the stomping ground of the great migration, which sees one and a half million wildebeests, 200,000 zebras and 350,000 gazelles traveling over 1,200 miles in an annual race for water and green grass.
The Ngorongoro Crater, where you will proceed from Serengeti, is the world's largest intact caldera, forming a spectacular bowl spread over 265 square kilometres with sides up to 600m deep. The crater is home to as many as 20,000 to 30,000 wild animals at any given time.
Also included is a stopover at the famous Olduvai Gorge, where the missing puzzles of human evolution were found. Please note that two night's accommodation in Moshi, one night each before Day 1 and on Day 4, is included in the tour price.

Imagine a safari where every sunrise brings the thrill of spotting Africa’s most iconic animals. This 3-day adventure in Rwanda’s Akagera National Park is perfect for travelers seeking an unforgettable wildlife tour experience, blending classic game drives with unique moments in nature. Your journey kicks off with a scenic drive from Kigali to the park, followed by a relaxing stay at the Ruzizi Tented Lodge overlooking tranquil Lake Ihema.
Set out on exhilarating guided game drives to seek out the Big Five—elephants, lions, rhinos, buffaloes, and leopards—while learning about the park’s diverse habitats. As dusk falls, a sunset boat cruise reveals hippos, crocodiles, and flocks of waterbirds along the lake’s shimmering edge. The second day ramps up the excitement with both daytime and night game drives, offering a rare glimpse of Akagera’s nocturnal wildlife, before settling in under the stars at Karenge Bush Camp.
Your final day includes one last immersive game drive before returning to Kigali, capping off a whirlwind exploration of Rwanda’s premier safari destination. The trip’s standout feature is the combination of classic safari encounters with the tranquil luxury of lakeside lodges and the thrill of after-dark wildlife viewing. For young adults and seasoned adventurers alike, this tour package delivers the essence of Africa’s heartland in just three days—perfect for those craving a concentrated burst of nature and excitement.
One the seven main routes used to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the Machame route is the most popular path. It is the route of choice for many people because it provides impressive views and a variety of habitats. About 50% of all climbers, and most seasoned climbers, choose the Machame route.
The Machame route is also known as the Whiskey route, given its reputation for being a tough climb, in contrast to the easier Marangu route, which is known as the Coca Cola route. Unlike the gradual incline and hut accommodations found on the Marangu Route, the climbers on Machame hike steeper trails, for longer distances, while sleeping in tents.
Despite it being a little more difficult it is highly recommended because it provides a fantastic trail and great views along the way. We are looking very to taking you on a trip of a lifetime.
