Had such a fun week with an awesome group, trip manager and driver and loved exploring Ireland and seeing all the beauty it has to offer. A great way to see this country and make memories with new people who quickly become friends. Highly recommend!
It was our first time on a Trafalgar trip and most likely not our last. The scenery was spectacular, the tours were educational and fascinating. The hotels were top rate and the meals were delicious. Our Travel Director and Coach Driver were both outstanding. The whole experience was incredibly fulfilling and enjoyable. I highly recommend this company to anyone interested in a tour of this nature.
This was a fun trip, but it was very fast-paced. It gave a great overview of all that the UK and Ireland have to offer, but there wasn’t enough time to see very much of it in depth. It’s perfect for helping you pick out the places you want to see again in more detail. It involves a fair amount of riding around on the coach, but the route is consistently planned with carefully spaced “comfort” breaks. Some of the stops in small towns were given too much time, when there wasn’t much to do or see, and some of the stops could have been longer, when there was a lot to see or do. Our Tour Director was excellent, and so was our driver. Most of the hotels were very nice, with a few that were just OK. The included group dinners weren’t very exciting, but they were reasonable and tasty.
London, Lake District, Liverpool, Dublin, Belfast, County Donegal, Galway, Killarney, Waterford, Plymouth, York, Edinburgh, Scottish Highlands, Isle Of Skye, Glasgow
The entire trip was wonderful. I’m unable to single out just one city or experience because I enjoyed it all equally. I signed up for every optional experience and was not disappointed. I loved the ruins and the history from both our tour director and the specialists brought on in various areas.
Jam packed trip seeing the best sights of the UK and Ireland. The trip is fast paced and not a lot of time to immerse in each town but enough to see the sights and move on. Would recommend this trip for anyone wanting to see the highlights of the UK and Ireland with the knowledge of a trip manager to point out history and recommendations for activities food etc. Over the 18 days, I had so much fun which can be attributed to the enthusiasm of the trip manager and driver to make the trip enjoyable for us travellers.
Welcome to the ultimate Scottish and Irish adventure, where you'll find warm locals, trendy cities and breathtaking scenery everywhere you turn. On this trip you'll see highlands, bagpipes & whisky go head to head with Irish folk songs & Guinness: it's impossible to choose a favourite, which is why you need to do them both. And with heaps of eye-widening travel inclusions like Blarney Castle and a cruise around Loch Ness, there's no better way than this 13-day journey, starting in Edinburgh and finishing off in Dublin with a legendary bunch of 35-45s.
Itinerary was fully packed as expected. However, day available at London on 20th May was not correctly utilized. Of full available day, some people went for optional Windsor Trip and rest were left own their own to move about. It could have been well organized to include London Eye/River Cruse/Wax Museum/Hyde or Reagent Park etc for the all passengers as a whole even if costs entrance fee which may be charged in the total tour costs. Other tour operators always include these important tourist attractions in London.
Atleast two nights stay must be planned at important cities to make it enjoyable and less hectic even if some less important places need to be excluded in the itinerary. Rushing and trying to cover maximum cities kills the leisure time.
From London, Bristol, Oxford to York, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin - this 18-day tour of Britain and Ireland (with an epic 35-45s crew) includes entrance into awe-inspiring attractions aplenty, including puckering up for the Blarney stone, cruising across Loch Ness, and enjoying city tours of both Liverpool and Belfast. Cross the Irish sea, explore historic cities shrouded in folklore and mystery, gawp at Ireland's breathtaking landscapes and appreciate a culture of cool from as far back as the Beatles. It'll be love at first London site.
Think you know about Ireland? Our 8-day trip offers the full Irish travel experience with an awesome squad of 35-45 year old travellers. Visiting historical Galway, gazing out from the Cliffs of Moher, puckering up for the Blarney stone and taste-testing Guinness come as standard; but exploring the sights of Kilkenny by bike & seeing the UNESCO World Heritage site of the jaw-dropping Giant’s Causeway? Well, now we’re talking.
