Overall, this was one of the best trips ever. One suggestion I have, in the past the tour stared off with a tipping kitty that the CEO would collect at the beginning of the tour. Please bring the back. It is very confusing when the people on the tour must figure out how much to tip the drivers and other axillary staff. Please bring it back!!!!!!

A wonderful holiday. Our tour leader, Peter, was caring, knowledgeable and very organised. We were ‘on the go’ much of the time and thanks to his planning and experience we had a great time. The group size (15) was just right. We saw so much in our two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed the many walks, which were paced to suit us all. Too many highlights to pick just one but we loved the relative calm of Syros and Paros.

Fabulous week aboard the MS Isidorus. Swimming in crystal clear water and visiting lovely Greek villages. The Explore guide was excellent and conveyed his enthusiasm for Greek history, culture and food. Evia in June was beautiful- the gorge walk was a highlight- not at all crowded and much better value than the more well known islands.

A delightful well-paced trip with so many different parts of Greek history. As well as our tour leader we had excellent guides who brought the history alive. There was plenty of free time too. Our leader made sure we had a variety of eating experiences at different types of restaurant.
There are a lot of steps on this trip (Greece is mountainous, of course!) so only do it if your knees are up to it!!

Wonderful trip with our guide Lisa. The itinerary was good, but many long bus rides-which is necessary to cover mainland Greece and get in as much as we did in 7 full days. Would have loved to have an overnight stay in Nafplio. Enjoyed staying in hotels within walking distance to the towns-made it really easy to just go during free times. The dinner buffets at the hotels were not my favorite but understand why since a couple nights we were getting into the hotels late due to traveling. Kalabaka and Meteora were a highlight for me. The Olive Farm and Cooking night were wonderful. Both the Santorini and Mykonos stays were wonderful. The optional catamaran excursion on Santorini was great.
G Adventures provided an amazing experience, blending an authentic tour of Greece while making it fun and approachable. The CEO and everyone on the tour were friendly and easy to get along with.
